I think you are indeed interpreting the change wrong at 5:50. The change only applies to hitting already-contaminated survivors. Before in the ptb, hitting a contaminated survivor with tentacle strike didn't increase mutation rate at all.

You guys are reading it wrong. You didn’t get any mutation from hitting an infected survivor, only non infected survivors. Now, even if they are infected, you still get some mutation rate. It’s a buff
I think that's not a nerf, on PTB hitting a contaminated survivor wouldn't give you anything, now it's the same as hitting a zombie. So that would be a buff? I might be wrong.
He wasn't nerf. You misundestood the containmation changes. He now gets 1 extra mutatin when he hits someone who was infected, in addtion to getting the normal amount when they aren't.
Previously when you tentacle struck a contaminated survivor you only wounded them, they no longer gave you mutation progress. It looks like you now get mutation acceleration no matter who you hit (so 15 hits to either survivor and/or zombie should get you to tier 3)
I think the Nemesis buff you're saying is a nerf, is to account for people that gets Contaminated on purpose they will still give mutation rate. Everything else about the mutation rate is unchanged. And since you have to hit a survivor 3 times, you'll get extra mutation rate for committing and downing them with his power.

I don’t think it’s a big nerf right contaminated mean that like they are infected right the normal infection gives the same and they become contaminated so it’s not that big of a nerf
So im watching this to see when it goes live, on switch i hit the update button to see if it will work and it does the narrator says "the update will go live at 12pm" i look at the clock, 12pm. oh
These balance changes are so shit like why nerf demo he was so fun, and lucky break was already strong as shit now it’s just broken again what are they thinking?? Also they just buffed keys essentially with the Franklin’s nerf

goiong up against nemesis is not fun… he is tooo op. he didnt get any Nerfs from ptb!?!?!? WTH i rage quit my first match in year and half cause of nemesis he is not fun to go up against. his tier 3 Abilty is just too much there is like hardly any cooldown. and his speed is just waaaay to fast. and i have around 1000 hours in this game so i am pretty good at juking. but he is alwasy in ur ass cause of his speed. DBD needs to NERF the fuck out of nemesis.
The lag is terrible on ps4 when playing nem hopefully it’s fixed soon
