  1. I stopped playing DBD. I got tired of going from curb stomping survivors, to getting my teeth kicked in by the next team. I don't want to steam roll every game or get rolled for that matter. I had very few actual good games where the pressure bounced back and forth. Or even shifted during the match. I got sick of it and going back to watch my vids to see what I could have done better o ly to discover impossible things like super Gen speeds… survivors being just fast enough to make loops near infinites. I have played once since mid November and it was barely enjoyable.

    Me and my friend are hardcore simps for him LOL but I do LOVE the Forged in Fog chapter. I thought Knight wasn't too bad but I wouldn't call it trash.

  3. Didn't Otz take a break because some other games he wanted to play came out? I don't think it was necessarily because of the cheaters. He spoke out about the cheaters but he didn't stop playing because of them.

  5. 2022 was bad, bug ridden massive server issues I know a couple people who haven't been able to even play the game they load into a lobby and it insta kicks them been doing it all year to them and bhvr REFUSES to answer their tickets they both have deleted the game they've put over 100 bucks into simply cause they aren't able to play then the perk rework was POINTLESS wesker was a buggy mess and you hear how fun he is….yea ….sure then where are all the weskers? The knight is garbage and a buggy mess and caused the servers to be even WORSE than they had been the rest of the year the prestige system was theonly good thing to come out of this year and I can't count cosmetics despite how good they've been cause what good is a Ghostface mask when you have to get absolutely hammed 10 games in a row before you start kinda having fun

  9. imo roots of dread was pretty good, dredge is fun to go against and i didnt like haddie at first but now i think shes pretty cool, just needs more cosmetics idk why bhvr neglects her. garden of joy though, oh my god. every time i load into that map as killer i immediately don't want to play anymore

  12. Gay David – God Tier. (Although tbf, if you put it anywhere else, you'd been slaughtered in the comments)
    Turning David Gay was the epitome of political correct pandering. BHVR never specified anyone's sexuality, so now any character were it could be inferred if they were gay or bi or not, has been made clear by specifying one character.
    They then picked thee most anti gay character to avoid any criticism re Stereotyping, despite sterotypes legitimately existing. They should have introduced an overt gay/lesbian/bi character – full on stereotype!

  14. Honestly the only way I see this game really dying is if another asymmetrical horror comes out and does it better that isn’t a blatant copycat of the game. There were attempts but they failed horribly.

  15. Imo the forged in fog map looks extremely ugly, it’s all just shades of orange and the gates make no sense because there’s a wall and not a river blocking everybody off, there feels like a lot of missed potential on the map, and there’s little to no fire and just some burns

  17. I mean, to be fair Forged in Fog gave us Daddy Vittorio, so no matter how bad the Knight is, Vittorio more than makes up for him.

    And ya, sadly they'd have to completely rework the game to give Victor an outfit as he's a power, not a character. At least that's what they keep saying.

  18. I just wish I would not have to queue for so long as a killer, I am a killer main then waiting for almost 5 mins to play a game just to have someone either dc before map loads or the lobby just dismantles is so annoying

  20. At the height of the cheater issue was around when I was boycotting the game. I was very fed up with how little BHVR seemed to care about their player base.
    However, I've had some of the most fun moments playing DBD during this Bone Chill event. The community overall has been a lot more wholesome during it.

  23. I’m gonna have to disagree I really like the forged in Fog chapter. I like being able to zone survivors out of broken loops. I see why people dislike it, but I enjoy playing the killer. It’s even better when they give me time to get my ability back because then I have them for sure.

I genuinely think that in terms of gameplay from playing both sides throughout the year, that the game is in a pretty comfortable place in terms of difficulty/balance when not taking perks/swfs into consideration, wish that some perks were designed more around increasing the weight of player decisions rather than intentionally encouraging the player to engage in gameplay that is stal e/boring for one or both sides.

I returned to dbd had fun with wesker and demo got slightly frustrated and immediately took a break i rather let people have fun while i do my own thing i don't want to win i rather keep losing as killer than win because I'm not going for a 4k if you don't like what I'm doing as killer that's fine you do you I'm just enjoying my time playing wesker to people that want to loop me i can understand to protect your team but for me i don't care I'll just ignore you and have fun by doing chases for a while then back off and chase someone else i don't see winning as fun

  32. If BeHaviour wants to add another gay character they BETTER be a NEW character and NOT some stupid "such and such is gay now" announcement. I used to like playing David King but now I make him wear the weirdest outfits just to spite him.

  34. the attack on titan collab was a disappointment for me because I really hoped they were adding a map for it, but all we got was the lobby background.

    honestly the devs probably took away maurice with the dredge, because their character models got leaked and killed the hype for the chapter, so they wanted some form of payback.

  38. Don't you diss Garden of Joy XD! Garden of Joy is an absolute joy to play on compared to the horribly reworked RPD and the nightmarish hell that is Coldwind (and its iterations).

    Whenever I see RPD I say "Have I told you guys how much I hate this map?" and when I see a Coldwind map appear I'm like "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!"

  43. The grind reduction honestly saved this game for me, i have every killer and a lot of survivors tier 3 now and it feels good having every perk tier 3 on every killer now, it helps a lot

  44. Hi Aaron, I don't play Dead by Daylight as much, I only play the game casually because I'm not a pro player, I'm a rookie player and I still have fun regardless. Anyway as far for my 2022 in Dead by Daylight, I absolutely enjoyed the Lunar event because I absolutely love Tigers, they are my favourite animals so I went to play only to get the charms and such, I didn't get all of them, I only missed Three I think but I'm super happy with the ones I wanted. The Halloween event I enjoyed also, but again I do agree with their events, they need to do more, not just charms and Skins and adding little extra things on the maps, they must do more in the events, the one event I did miss was the 6th anniversary event, I didn't like the Masks and the event itself, it was boring so I skipped it. I absolutely love The Sadako chapter, the Wesker Chapter and I got all of the Attack on Titan Skins plus Charms because I'm a huge fan of Attack on Titan, did I get to play as Attack on Titan Skins, yes I did a survivors, what was even more special and funny was I ended up in a lobby and we all had the Attack on Titan Skins even the Killer who was in the same lobby as me had the Attack on Titan Skin also, it was so much fun. I also love how they added David to be gay, that's so awesome Sauce, anyway Aaron, thank you so very much for the video, hope that you are having a lovely Holiday and I will see you again in 2023. 😊 😊

  46. For me the worst moment of this year was patch 6.1.0, there were some good changes but I’d rather take old release ruin/undying than cob/eruption meta. Some of my friends went and ditched DbD after that patch and they were already disappointed with the new movement changes back in 2021.
