  1. sticking by it , skull merchant shoudve been the first unrealesed/vaulted killer , they can’t fathom losing/compensating for the error but realistically how can you fix that

  2. I normally play Skull Merchant in an inefficient way so I know I will be fine and still be good with her. But ya assassinating her like this was not the call. I would of been fine with the haste/hinder being nerfed or the drones being nerfed but to do both those things was overkill.

  3. Only 30k for the iri, you don’t get to mori multiple people and the reward only applies to the finisher IF you get it? Seriously, who asked for this and why would anyone run these? We’ve already got enough useless BP offerings cluttering up our inventories, why add more?

Predator is looking to become a beginner perk for killers but on the PTB I stumbled upon 3 survivors and when I downed one survivor, I saw that it activated on the survivor I downed but it also showed me the aura of the other 2 survivors I had part of the chase with. As for the Mori offerings to go with the finisher Mori, we have the Cypress offer a lot of BP for performing the finisher Mori on the final survivor, let's say 50k. Ivory and Ebony remain the same to allow you to Mori survivors on death hook but we add an extra factor of you must achieve a certain hook stage amount before you can mori a survivor to alleviate a killer focusing one survivor to death hook and performing a mori with only 2 hook stages earned much like how devour hope needs 5 tokens before you can mori survivors. Would like thoughts on the Mori idea

Could they not keep the ebony mori the same and make each kill give a slight bonus. what is the issue mori's have not been op in years. why remove a great part of the game, interrupting mori's. people pointed out no more group ghostface photos without rancor. the devs just keep showing how out of touch they are.

  6. also It's pretty clear we are about to finally either see a mori shop or way more cosmetics will be coming with unique mori's so they are making these changes so people are more likely to buy. not awful but makes the issues with it even worse because we are losing a big aspect of the mori and mori offerings for the sake of people pushed to spend more.

  7. It's horrible, Survivors goes from strength to strength but killers keep losing and losing, wish i could get a refund on Skull Merchant and the cosmetics i brought, wasted my money at this point

  8. Moris on live are unhealthy.

    Now they are going in a better direction. If they increased the bonus Bloodpoints and could only be used once every Survivor has been hooked once, it would be another good direction. You say that Moris were fine, when they weren't. Moris encourage tunneling, one of the most frustrating and looked down upon playstyles in the game right now. They encourage unhealthy playstyles that hurt the overall experience of the game.

  9. I would argue that Skull Merchant is never going to scan anyone outside of chase because it's super easy to dodge 1 lone laser that isn't even in stealth, so her tracking is completely gone from her kit…

  10. They ruined skull merchant😭 I’m a skull merchant main and I’m still gonna play her—I’m fairly good with M1 killers, but it’s really the principle of the matter. The nerf is huge and that’s something to talk about, but the fact BHVR catered so badly to the collective crybabies whining is what’s infuriating. Moreover, there were many steps they could’ve taken instead of making her power next to useless.

  11. Skull Merchant isn't in such a problematic spot that they need to soft delete her from the game. She essentially doesn't even have a power after this patch. She's not played nearly as much to warrant this and most of the complaints the community has are just hate stemming from back in her 3 gen days. As for the moris, the only need to make cypress mori basekit, that's it. Leave the other 2 the same. Corrective action also needs to not go live. It's able to feed stacks with itself if used with another player and it stacks with other great skill check perks like hyperfocus, essentially leading to being able to afk a gen in 40ish seconds.

  12. Man, the skull merchant thing is such a supremely lazy way to go about game balance. Crippling her when her worst crime these days is being obnoxious just so they can come back around in a year to actually dedicate the time to fix her is just a mortifying way to go about it. It feels like they would have just killswitched her if they didn't have to answer all the people who bought the character with money.

  13. This is my idea for how to change mori's IF I were forced to do it!

    1.) Make most mori's base kit:
    • if there is 1 survivor left in the trial they can be moried
    • if the killer has 8 hooks and 0 kills they gain the ability to mori all survivors

    2.) Each type of mori offering would reward you more blood points depending on how the survivor was moried:
    • Cyprus Mori-You get Bloodpoints if you mori a survivor that trial

    • Ivory Mori- You get Bloodpoints if you mori a survivor + a BONUS amount of bloodpoints if you sacrificed all other survivors before the mori (aka no escapes)

    • Ebony Mori-you get bloodpoints for every mori + a BONUS amount of bloodpoints if you kill ALL survivors with a mori

  14. So bhvr admitted they intentionally planned to degrade a product (skull merchant) that prople have bought.

    Pretty sure there is some consumer rights violations somewhere in there. So they should get sued.

  15. Changes I’d do to the ptb:
    Killer-Tone the twins nerfs down just a teensy bit (they’re just too harsh imo), give unk edging back but make it so it takes slightly longer to fully pull the tentacle out and for the first tiny bit while you’re “edging” the animation doesn’t play on the survivors end (remove the free mind games but keep the smart hallucination placements), rework merchant instead of killing her (killing her isn’t going to make her any more fun to play against so I dunno why they’re doing it), and lastly make it so you can mori the last survivor without needing a mori but leave the mori offerings alone (with the system on the ptb it kinda just encourages slugging for the 4k).
    Survivor-Make it so that teamwork perks activate on unhooks not heals and also you can see the aura of the surv it’s activated on (that way they’re easier to activate and less swf sided), revert distortions nerf but change it so it charges up tokens in chase instead of in terror radius, I actually like new blood rush tho and I think it should stay as is

  16. The only change I genuinely like is Leverage. It's such a wonderful countermeta perk with all that amount of resurgence, we'll make it and other quick reset tools that make survivors way too comfortable resetting under hook because it's so free.

    Going to run the hell out of it with sloppy butcher addons.

  17. As a Sadako main who DOESN'T like condemn playstyles, let me say that I fully sympathize with the Skull Merchant mains here. It doesn't get better, and I hope when her year is up, they do good by her like they did with Onryo.

  18. As a freddy enjoyer that dabbles in some skull merchandising, I think I have the m1 skill to not be total ass with SM's rework but like idk why they don't just remove the hindered/haste lol
