  1. I understand the idea of balancing around high level but at the same time if you do that you risk having the casual (aka the majority) players leave the game. That’s actually the exact reason I stopped playing siege, they sucked all the fun out of the game for anyone who wasn’t top level

  2. I'm with you on FG's, and I always use them to reference skill, balance, etc. because they are the most technical and have the highest range of skill and game sense at play, my favorite is how a god-tier reader can decimate a reactard with just knowledge, and ofc a reactard will stomp randoms just because their 17yo and caffeinated. I love how people say MOBAs but all you have to do with those is know what items to buy for what toons and a little bit of communication with teamwork, simply two peeps being on comms and you absolutely stomp pubs

  3. I definitely agree with fighting games being the hardest learning curve because even if you think you’re good at a fighting game at high levels you have to be ridiculously good just to win the only fighting games that I think are easy are anime fighting games

  4. I want to see the Earth-2 Alternate Timeline Story Arc where True became a Pro MMA Fighter added to the Expanded True-niverse Lore. I think he could actually do quite well. Just from watching him stream, you can tell he has the proper mental. Yes, I am aware that video games and real life combat are very different things, but the same basic principles apply. An eye for detail, the ability to tactically analyze a situation, quickly determine the most optimal outcome possible, and how best to go about achieving it, all while constantly accounting for hundreds of ever shifting variables, knowing when- and when not- to change tactics in light of changing circumstances, keeping your head under pressure, maintaining presence of mind, thinking on your feet, making a solid game plan while still being able to intuitively adapt and seize unforeseen advantages whenever possible, etc etc etc. Same principles just applied to different context.

And MMA is very much a tactical competition, especially for the more technical fighters who focus hard on grappling and submissions and Jiujitsu shenanigans, which require very extensive and precise knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Geology, Philology… uh…Alchemy… ? Ok, you can probably get by without the last few- tho pulling some Full Metal Alchemist shit in the middle of Fight Night would be dope AF, that may be against the rules- but for real, you need to know a fair bit about the first 3 just to avoid seriously injuring yourself, as that is rarely, if ever, a viable strategy for winning a fight.

Making shit explode by snapping your fingers like Roy Mustang in FMA? Absolutely viable. S-Tier perk. Full Meta Alchemist.

Maybe that could be the Earth 3 Alternate Timeline True… hm… someone get to work on that. Move over, Naruto- True’s about to be the new top Anime Protagonist. Believe it. 👉
