Just an interesting instance of Whispers being a clutch perk. This match happened during our recent attempts at doing the Nostalgia Streak, where we play all Killers with mostly outdated builds.

  1. i think what makes this game very dumb is the survivors running animation! a killer chasing you with a god damn giant hammer and a chainsaw ready to cut you in half, yet the survivors looks like just taking a jog with the killer behind them.. maybe i am just over exaggerating but imo it ruins the immersion of being a cat and mouse game. 😂

  2. Honestly, didn’t hear whispers, you were 50/50 for gates (less so because he was heading in the direction of front gates on the upper floor), and you were already mid charge so I highly doubt Whispers made a difference here

  3. Whispers is the best tracking perk in the game. If you can utilise it properly. Nothing counters it, nothing reveals it, and you become the walking radar. Ultimate Weapon ain't got NOTHIN' on the OG golden boy Whispers.

  4. Jesus Christ I hate playing in RCPD. If even the best players struggle so hard, what chance do I have? And I ever played that game, and honestly it just makes it harder, because certain routes are blocked

  5. whispers needs a bit of a touch-up, it should light up with a different color while active to make it easier to notice while looking at mid-screen, and have a number on it for how many survivors it's detecting.

  6. They did very well considering that they basically had no exhaustion perks apart from lithe. But no sprint burst/dead hard/adrenaline/balanced. I guess the dwight had MFT so it makes sense as well.

  7. I still dont understand wispers, its just constant noise when your near a survivor, if your near them you likely found them already and the wispers are just gonna distract you from important sound cues…

  8. I really wish they updated Whispers a little bit somehow. I get why they dont exclude hooked survivors in Whispers because that would encourage camping. I get why they dont exclude downed survivors for similar reasons.

But Whispers could be so much better. Perhaps they can grant AoE effects based on how many survivors are within range, ones that the killer doesnt easily notice, but affect survivors. Like increased skillcheck speed, louder footsteps(with 3 or 4), perhaps even a forced scream/killer instinct if a survivor remains within the range for too long.

Heck, even showing the range visually would be nice, as you can then easily use the range to triangulate someone's position.

  9. typical prestige 100 player:
Dwight was obsession (1500 BP for "Obsession Escaped" + 7000 for "survived").. So his actual score for the match was 8919
P100s that I usually get matched with just kill themselves on 1st hook for no actual reason ( happened in 3 matches in a row with different P100 players) in Iridescent rank matchmaking..
