  1. If Behavior wanted to actually make a difference, they could’ve donated to a charity to help the people of Ukraine. This really does nothing, what does Russia care about a single game

  2. If enough companies freeze out Russia, it may speed up reaching peace. If you have a problem with that, take it up with Putin, who initiated this unjust war and is using Russian taxpayer money for war, and not Behavior.

  3. It's their fundamental donation to a humanitarian cause! Dont you see!? If you stop giving anything to russia your automatically a good person than their citizenry (who outright object the war in their own terms) and the military powers and government bodies will CEASE to operate without Dead By Daylight!

Sarcasm aside, jesus christ, everybody is jumping on the bandwagon of hatred towards russia in itself because it just seems "fashionable", everybody is suddenly a geographical and war expert, and this placated show of "niceness" has about as much effect as when BHVR came out in support BLM and LGBT respectively, but now it's just getting silly, and is only a matter of time before we get a Ukranian survivor with a Blue/Yellow skin, or a Ukraine flag cosmetic.

  4. It's sad seeing BH just saying "well, we won't let them play". No, i'm not russian, no I'm not belurusian. I'm just a chilean guy that started learning russian back in december 2020, and even I am getting harrassed in everygame I have my name in cyrilic. It's sad seeing rusian people being thrown under the bus because of their goverment. And I pain for my friends in russia and ukraine. BH should just take a step back and try and do everything to help it's community not die, How can so much people judge russian commoners, the everyday people like they wanted war too? it's just dumb

слава украïна, и спасим русских людей, они не винаваты

  5. As a russian kid, its really bad. These sanctions are the worst things that happend with me. No movies, no games, no even fast food ( they are closing too). I want to this finish soon as posible. Some people protested at the end of February, but it ended to bad.

  6. This isnt going to change anything except for punishing the civilians of russia for being where they are. They might not even be in Russia by choice, and its either going to A. Change nothing or B. Piss people off in russia so they don't get the sale.

  7. This is the right thing to do, it'll convince more Russians to protest Putin. Anyone who says otherwise, wakeup companies aren't being selfish or punishing people, companies like Microsoft have shut down their servers in Russia, this is all to slow them down and weaken their forces, hopefully in time these decisions will have a clear impact.

  8. mmm… I wonder why people from Russia should suffer, who don't give a shit about the war, who hate their politicians, who have friends from Ukraine, who apparently many think can influence the war and Putin… I want to say that our government does not care what the people think, if they go to a rally, they will be tied up, expelled from an educational institution, etc. the law promises us freedom of speech, but in fact figs to you and not freedom of speech… With all these sanctions, I can't enjoy my favorite things, and now in the future I won't even be able to go to the country of my dreams – the USA. I really want to talk to Americans, and as a result, many people hate us because we just live in Russia… please understand that the common people will not be able to influence the authorities in any way…

  9. Cancelling game culture won't help. Putin and oligarchs are crying that they can't play DBD or Playstation or crying for taxes they could have for selling skins.
Just don't buy Petroleum and Gas from Russia government then. Of course we will be all in crisis but THIS what will help!

  10. Nothing againts Russians but from my experience playing Dead by Daylight, they are the most toxic players to play with and againts.
I know not all are like this but just enough to be noticeable.
Also whenever I encounter a hacker in dbd,its usually a Russian.
I'm sorry for every Russian that suffer from this even tho they have no blame in any of this.

  11. Saying that this is the Devs trying to get Russians to protest is stupid as Russians that do protest get 15 years in jail or killed in some cases. All i see is them using anything they can for publicity and to seem relevant, realistically they couldn't care less as long as their pay rises.

  12. Ah damn they rekt Putin. In all seriousness this is absolutely stupid, the financial impact on Russia from this will be like buying a candy bar with bill gates debit card. all this is doing is screwing over people that are not even involved in the war. If they wanted to help they would instead put alot of things on sale and use the proceeds to donate to the families affected by the war.

  13. All these hillarious sanctions with clothes brand, fast food restaurants and online games are there just to make russians to riot, but I bet most companies hadn't even known what Ukraine is, the war was just a reason to show rusophobic nature of other people, and that is what a lot of russians think. So it is companies who are blamed and noone else

  14. To those who think imposing sanctions and punishing everyday Russian people will somehow turn them against their government, you are dead wrong.

With their empty pockets and being banned from almost every online hobby, it will only further increase hatred toward the West.

Many Russians, even if against Putin, will still find it unfair that the west is punishing them for something many of them straight up oppose or simply had nothing to do with.

It's just for show. If behaviour gave a damn, they'd donate supplies and money to charity to help civilians.

People need to start caring about civilians from all sides.

  15. "Innocent russian people"
    More like
Russians that voted for putin (officially) and arent working against his regime (in reality) but instead or just bystanders
Theres a reason everyone says "go vote" the same goes for political engagement. And if you really dont want to engage you can move to another country most EU countries also take russian refugees since the human rights are still in effect (every person shall be treated as an equal no matter theor origin, religin, political background, etc.) So there are ways when you dont support the regime and if you do nothing its your fault
