Testing out the other ultra rare addon for the new killer the dredge, and this one blocks window vaults for 5 seconds after coming out of a locker while in nightfall. we make a build based around it and see if there’s any value to be had at all.

  1. I get why iris don't change the way killers play all that much anymore; it's hard to come up with original concepts with how much overlap all the killer powers have these days and a lot of the changes could also end up becoming future killer powers…they've already run out of ideas, after all. Plus…pre-nerf iri head, for an example…I'd be scared to break the game any more with such a strong add-on after taking literally years to bring a nerf that they promised was coming very soon, lol.

Weirdly, very rares often seem much more broken than iri add-ons nowadays. Looking at the add-on that forces Nightfall at the start and end, for example…that swapping with this add-on for rarity would make a ton of sense, imo.

Those locked lockers made me cringe so hard. It's always so frustrating when every TP leads to a locked locker, and there's no way of knowing from the inside until you try to come out of it.

That said, if you know one of 2 lockers is locked in a pair, it'll always TP you to the locked one but you can then move to the one right next to it, you won't be locked out. A bit more time than normal, but much less than if you break yourself out.

  2. Iris need to drastically change the killer. A great example is the doctor where survivors need to either play entirely differently or keep them on their toes.

They don’t have to be strong. Just mediocre of okay is fine.

  3. Your confusion is always so fucking funny and idk why. Like it’s honest, genuine tofu confusion of what the hell is going on.

Reminds me when AVGN says “what the fuck”

  4. Ok so, not a lot of survs know that you can walk into the thing the dredge leaves behind when it teleports to destroy it. It makes looping dredge like 100 times easier if they don’t teleport to it

  5. Iri's that change the way a killer players is always the better option imo. This one kinda goes for it but it feels like it's mainly built to specifically counter Shack. This is more fit for a Purple at best.

  6. Yeah, when you have to put effort into making an addon worth it, it probably isn't anything beyond a green addon. I don't know why the frig they still are like "But what if we make an iri addon that is so stupidly situational, that you have to build for it, or drop offerings for it?"

  7. Teams like the last one make me hate playing this game tbh. Not even good, just playing safe at every pallet / E, sticking to gens, all on comms, still lose 2 people, still tbagging at the exit gates.

  8. At some point the devs got confused and now if the addon is ultra-rare, it just means it's ultra-rare for you to get value with it. How is 5 seconds after teleportin during nightfall on the same level as Infinite Tier III Myers?
