This video goes over the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise and what Behaviour Interactive would have to do to license Springtrap into DBD as the new killer in a FNAF Chapter.

  1. Keep in mind we'll likely have an ideal survivor WITH a face by Year 6.

The FNaF movie is currently in production with Blumhouse, and features Mike as its primary protagonist. (The protagonist from the original game, and the son of the serial killer who became Springtrap)

They can just use the actor's likeness or do something similar to Laurie, Quentin, or Tapp (Hopefully not goblin style.)

On another note, I'd very much want Charlie from the books as a legendary for any of the survivors.

It'd just be cool since I imagine Springtrap and Michael would be based on their movie counterparts.

Depending on how similar to the original games the movie feels– it might be a good idea to toss an ensured nostalgia bone to the old fans.

You never know how well a movie adaptation will go, and as much as I trust Blumhouse it's always a concern with these things.

  2. Clocktower is not a popular franchise, are there some chances? I think yes, even if you never played the games, a japanese demon kid with a giant scizzor as killer is so atractive, and a japanese girl in school uniform is a sold, dbd aged Cherryl, they can do it again.

  3. I'm thinking, since there's only 1 non-killer human we know the look of outside of 8-bit, a FNaF chapter would have an opportunity for a non-human survivor. I feel like the animatronics possessed by Springtrap's victims would be the best candidates for a possible survivor.

  4. I'm pretty sure what Dawko meant with that is that all the game from the first FnaF to Ultimate Custom Night were made by Scott Cawthon himself and his team, it wasn't until Help Wanted that Steel Wool got involved. They're the ones that mainly helped develop Help Wanted, Special Delivery and Security Breach, so that's what he meant by Scott willing to share the franchise, at least with them

  5. If FNAF was included with DBD as a crossover.. there is so much backstories for each character as I have played FNAF for 2 years! Basically FNAF has lost children’s souls in the animatronics.

  6. Scott Cawthon developed and published FNAF 1 through Ultimate Custom Night all by himself. It was only in 2019 when he let Steel Wool Studios develop and Lionsgate Games publish FNAF Help Wanted. That's why Dawko was talking about Scott opening up to other companies…

  7. I think the negative stigma with Fnaf is because its a very PG 13 kinda horror. I think Fnaf Is a great entry to horror for people and I think that's important.

  8. When Dawko talked about "Scott being open to work with other companies" he was referring to the fact that Help Wanted and Special delivery were made with other companies (SteelWool Studios and Illumix)

  9. 3:20 i think dawko was referring to the fact that games after ultimate custom night have been made by different companies (Illumix and Steel Wool) but scott still leads the direction of it.
