Feeling bad about those killers)
Ello gamer
Idk this might be a nerf emoji comment but the thing is, I don't think they know you're good initially and some might be good in chase, those killers avoid a clearly chase oriented survivor and are doing the smart thing and are probably experienced, since they recognise that:
– you're not doing gens and have no intention to (while your teammates are)
– you are attempting to initiate chase, which means either: there are no teammates in the area doing gens and that you're in zone with safe loops, or you're trying to distract them from a nearby objective. Either way you're telling them that you're not a threat if ignored
– they are more likely to find a teammate (not necessarily a worse looper) in a bad position somewhere else
– in myer's case, you having a medkit also means you can easily undo any time spent in chase in case he has to switch targets, and if he is 99'd or you are fully stalked downing you when injured isn't worth the time
It's hard to tell if they're genuinely scared because both scared and good killers will just avoid chasing you, and if you're against a good killer that does that you'll find out in late game that they're actually good in chase. And tbf if you want a good killer to chase you do some gens and miss some skill checks in a non obviously safe area. A bad one will likely chase you on sight when it makes no sense and then regret it and switch targets for the rest of the game.
This is why I don’t play survivor, I never get chased, when I play killer don’t rlly drop chase, which ik is a bad idea but it’s not fun patrolling gens
Genuinely, as a killermain, if you’re trying to get my attention you’re not worth my time. When you’re a “good at chase” survivor, I won’t go for you because you’re going to get above the optimal chase time of 30 seconds. That’s all you should have to chase. The only time I engage a gamer on your level first is when I’m getting a pickup and you roll up and flashlight me before I get ONE hook. After that I’m slugging you and once people come to help I’m slugging them too. A chase should not last more than 30-45 seconds, when it does it’s a waste of time. Any good killer knows that. If I spend a whole generator chasing you that’s a stupid strategy. Whether you know it or not, your whole thing is you play “distraction” while everybody else does gens. So engaging you to begin with is a terrible idea it means your strategy worked
