Ok, so if survivor sees that Pig skipped them with trap setting, it probably means they are in danger of hard tunnel. Good to know. I always thought it's just Pig forgetting to do that.
Its crazy the box aura is gone and all of this pressure OTZ was able to achieve will kinda now be harder to even accomplish without any aura perks.
This is definitely a PsyOp. They definitely sent Otzdarva an e-mail telling him to be enamored with the chase buffs so that the RBT nerfs wouldn't look that bad. He's trying to hypnotize us into thinking that we don't want the RBTs.

If you have the time to put a trap on a survivor, you should almost always go for it. Against better survivors it's possible to not even get all 4 traps out.

If a survivor has a trap on in the endgame, you should ALWAYS open the gate yourself, to apply MASSIVE pressure on them, then target the other survivors.

I try to give a trap to everyone once once until 3 gens. Then i save 1-2 and try to place them on the final gen
