  1. Are you a part of team Carlos? This video is the first of my series where I will be helping new survivors and killers with some tips, guides and stuff I will make in the future, due to the influx of new players as part of the playstation extra and Resident Evil DLC! Also, this video in specific is aimed towards new players, so if you are experienced and have any tips I didn't mention, make sure to comment them down below! I will credit those tips I didn't know in future parts!

  2. For early game, I agree that you should never go to the edges of the map as that's free pressure for the killer, but for mid-Late game, a smart survivor can waste the killer's time by taking chase and running to the edges of the map, buying their teammates enough time to make good progress on the last gens.

  3. Am I the only who think that the regression gen speed should be upgraded? it takes 1minute and half to repair a gen on solo without toolboxes and kick it to regress from 100% to 0% takes 6 minutes. that’s so long !
(but they should nerf the doc and sadako perks about regressing speed)

  4. Someone might already have pointed this out, but Midwich science and music room gens are NOT a guaranteed spawn – they are only guaranteed if an offering for the map is burned. If the map comes up randomly, they might not spawn (and hence there's no way to open the secret room in the courtyard).

  5. I had the nastiest 3-Gen ever just a few days ago while playing Deathslinger… McMillan, Mine stage. 2 cocky Neas bothering me around killer shack while their equally cocky gen monkeys worked on all the gens nearby as in like "That killer will be busy there all game so let's pop the closest gens before he gets lucky"… Ended up with 3 gens in LOS of each other, open terrain with some trees and basically permanent access to any due to Deathslinger's range. Any time they tried to lure me off I'd chase a moment, injure and just go back until they eventually made mistakes and dropped one by one.

  6. There are some situations where running along the map border is useful. When not in chase moving from one generator to the next, especially early game, for example. Mid to late game, not so much. Also, when going for a hook save, it's best not to run through the middle of the map to run into the killer who generally patrols the area. Anytime the killer and survivor isn't in chase and usually between 5-3 gens still needing to be completed. If 2-1 gens still need to be completed and they are spread out, it can still be safe but take longer to get out alive. This is especially useful for solo q and against killers who tend to pressure the center of the map rather than one side. Players may want the killer to chase them. My suggestion, stay as far away from the killer as possible. That includes the map borders when not in chase.

  7. While I agree on the border thing, you should also say that if you know you're going down regardless, it's better to die on the edge of the map far away from hooks than to die in the middle of it right next to a hook. There's a reason it's called the comp corner.

  8. I agree with the most but not with 5 and 11

Nr. 5 : dont waste pallets is a bad advice. good killers will thankfully take the free hit. and wont respect the pallet.
Nr. 11 : dont waste hooks is not very useful, if u take the nearest hook u will nearly always be able to hook the survivor. if u see there is no hook just make sure to drop the survivor early enough. if u want to safe a hook u will loose time to walk to a hook further away.

everything is just my opinion / my experience

  9. How dare you say not to go to the map borders! I will have you know MintSkull, that I am a professional Z wall runner that makes every Nurse who does not how to blink shiver in their boots.

  10. there's some pretty good advice here with a few addendums:

predropping is a good idea in certain situations. putting oni gameplay over that tip was a bad example, as you actually want to predrop against oni to deny him of his power. going to the corner is also a good idea if you know you're going to go down, as it forces the killer to travel further to hook you. beyond that, great stuff! 😀

  11. Hey, just a quick note. The gen spawns that you mention for Midwich are wrong. There is not a 100% guarantee that they'll spawn, there have been games where neither of them have spawned. They do have increased chances of spawning there due to the achievement and the hidden Midwich chest, but it is not guaranteed

  12. That killer tip about chases is quite useful. A lot of newer killers spend all game chasing 1 person getting mad at the person for outplaying them and one of two things happen. All the generators get done and everyone escapes with the killer having very little hooks. Or the really good player get caught and camped out by the killer who is now frustrated and angry.

I find ending a chase early even if you don't catch them quite useful for multiple reasons. I don't want to waste my time with 1 person when there are 3 other completing objectives. It keeps me from losing my cool and keeps me level headed, allowing me to devise future plans. And most importantly, the survivor who stops getting chased early might get overconfident which will make them make mistakes. And trust me. An overconfident survivor will make mistakes.

Just remember 3 sacrificed survivors and letting the 1 you despise go is better than 1 or no sacrifices.

  13. @MintSkull I remember one time I downed a Cheryl who blocked the gen with her repressed alliance, but my demogorgon surge made it regress WHILST it was blocked, so are you sure that it's true because blocked regressing is so funny to see

  14. I also have around 2K hours and didn’t know the pallet vacuum thing, I was wondering why it seemed almost random if my vacuums would work or not, also nice choice with the Pokémon battle revolution music in the background.

  15. I've gotten to the point as killer where sometimes if survivors are trying to get me to chase them, I'll ignore them and focus on the survivors who aren't as good at looping me if I can find them.

  16. The Shrine isn't quite a scam; but rather is a tool to help progress perks and lessen the Prestige grind for all characters. Perhaps there's one perk you really want but don't want to grind out Clown for Bamboozle. You can use your shards to instantly unlock a tier on all killers you own, and lessen the amount of time needed to get that perk to tier 3.

Crows are also useful for survivors as Killers will trigger crows just as well. If you're playing against a stealth killer, crows can help you indicate who might be coming your way.

  17. Depending on the killer, 3-genning can be strong or weak. For instance, Huntress can easily down someone around the gens, while Trapper has to chase them away. They'd go completely opposite direction from the gens and give others time to repair them. If you go back, it'd keep the game going for a very long time.

  18. imo with the new update, the shrine is still pretty worth it in scenerios where you want a perk immediately or something along those lines. Spending 10k shards isn't necessary unless you're desperate for tier 3 on a perk. One you buy it once for 2k, it will be given to you at tier 1 for all survivors or killers (depending on which perk it is) and then you can easily unlock the next few tiers from the bloodweb. It's what I've been doing since they introduced the new prestige system. I've prestiged about 10 characters since the new update to P1, and It's been amazing. I have tons of perks now for every surviver and killer, and when I do start progressing a new character I end up with tier 3 perks for practically every perk by the time I'm able to prestige that new character. So basically remember that it's not a requirement to get prestige 3 for tier 3 perks on all characters (unless you really want to tackle that grind). You can still play whoever you want and unlock the next tiers through the blood web. Great video 🙂 !

  19. If you don't wear down the survivors and pallets in your 3 gen triangle, you will not be able to stop them from circling the gens like flies. Boons also make 3 gen with noncommittal chases a match of pointlessness
