  1. I love this game mode, however, For Azarov’s (however you spell it) there can be times where texture don’t load in the map and you get crazy rubber band moments. Has this happened to anyone else?

  2. The fix is simple but tricky to implement. Make it more engaging for survivors than sitting on gens. Thats always been one of the biggest issues with the game but one thats rarely brought up.

I have to bring up friday the 13th as an example. The counselors had SO many options to escape the match. Cars, boats, calling for help, outlasting the clock and so on. One of the biggest complaints I've seen with 2v8 is that they added a lot with killers (team ups) but nothing really new for survivors besides more gens.

  3. Hot take (and let’s be real, they won’t do it): throw iridescent shards or an eye-catching xp increase towards it to incentivize survivors. I do love me some shopping shards!

  4. I can't wait for all killers to be available in this mode. I've said this elsewhere but the possibilities of so many team ups is insane. Myers and ghostface, bubba and billy, xeno and demo, nemesis and wesker, nurse and doctor, so many combos that would be super iconic.

  5. the pure chaos of running around the map, downing people fast, and moving on right away as objectives pop left and right is really reminding me of Deathgarden, and honestly that alone is good enough for me-

  6. Honestly, solo q survivor kinda sucks, but solo q killer has actually been still really fun, assuming I don’t get a terrible teammate (which I’ve had twice, but every other time, we were both at least decent, and it was very enjoyable!)

  7. The only real way I can see Behavior fixing queue times is by making survivor more fun. You could do this by adding more roles for the survivors. Or a crazy one I thought of was that now you can have killer synergies, why not do the same thing for survivor, for example if you run Thalita and Renato in the same lobby a certain buff gets activated for the trial, probably not feasible with the amount of survivor combos they would have to implement but just a wild thought I had.

  8. I thought Azarov's was the most killer sided map, frankly. Pallets are fairly unsafe, map is extremely open so survivors can be seen from very far away, and there is no godly main structure. Also, multiple times me and my friend were able to 6 gen, which is hilarious. If we didn't at least 6K, it was on us (my friend is very inexperienced as killer).

On the other hand… Red Forest was the hardest map for us by far. We didn't 6K+ once, and got trounced at least once. Pallets chain like crazy, map is massive with so many LOS blockers, with loop structures pretty solid on average, meaning you either need to break the pallet or have your teammate with you to get downs. Also, the main building is just godly. Especially if the god window is in the right spot on the 1st floor.

Note: I mostly played as Wraith, with my friend as Huntress. So mayhaps it is just a really bad combo on that map. Could also be our play style just doesn't work on that map. But it felt like the strongest map by far, while Azarov's felt very fair, heck, even killer sided. Even with all the bugged areas/glitched pallets, we pretty thoroughly destroyed the survivors every time.

Love the new mode, btw. With some polish, and of course faster queue times, I'll be very happy.

  9. The only thing I can think of to improve matchmaking would be an unpopular option. When you queue you select both a survivor and killer and which you actually get is RNG. Similar to Friday the 13th. Once a lobby is filled, THEN it would choose who plays the killers based on their selections. Unfortunately there would probably be people DCing if they don't get their preferred role. And the system would have to take player groups into account when deciding who plays the killers (not splitting up parties).

  10. My theory is that queue times will become better, once there are more killers to play. If 10 players queue up as huntress, and one as nurse, the other 9 huntresses will have to wait, because they're not able to play with each other obviously. I don't know which killer is the most popular in this, but I can imagine that the distribution is not even.

  11. They need to fix trapper he cant pick up his traps right away you have to press it multiple times causing ode time waisting & map bugs but besides that 10/10 game mode

  12. Meanwhile survivor 2v8 is the least fun I've had in DBD. Taking away your perk agency feels awful, combine that with having to deal with truck-throwing Huntress every match and my will to be on this game instead of having fun with my friends in FFXIV completely vanishes.

  13. propose to fix to queue times, everyone killer main has to alternate to survivor once every x amount of killer games and add some sort of requirement so people can't go in the survivor games and grief match to die fast. if that is too forceful then lower the priority for people that are spamming killer games by a percentage every game so their queue times are longer and reset it after they get into a survivor game

  14. More classes/builds with more fun perks for survivor would probably help, maybe even some neat/fun abilities for survivors based on class would probably help queues.

Playing it as survivor is kinda fun for a bit cause it is chaotic, but it really doesn't outweigh the loss of ability to get saves or the more fun survivor perks for long.

  15. Yea its fun for killers . Not so much for survivors . If they try to make this mode a permanent thing it will be the end of dbd . O and its not half as fun as chaos shuffle . All this is is 10,000 hour duo bully simulator for killers

  16. All the edgelords would rather play killer and shitting on survivors easily, than being a boring survivor team getting their ass handed to with no fight back. No locker stuns? No item loadouts? No flashlight saves? Basically zero fun for survivor.

  17. I’ve found survivor to be super fun too. It’s just nonstop chaos, hardly any time spent hooked/slugged. No three gens or solo queue lack of info. Mode is 10/10

  18. You could add up to x bots (as the queue time gets longer) to reduce the number of players to find when too many killers are in queue?
If this can significantly reduce matchmaking times, that seems like an acceptable tradeoff.
