  3. Yeah it's all about ez wins with the suvs, I wonder how satisfying is doing 5 gens in 3 minutes and then leaving. Maybe we should sell "gen simulator" so they can enjoy their skill checks.

  5. When you describe the Eruption counter play and people don't listen it makes me think when people were saying Spirit had 0 counter play in her old state when in reality she did but, most players just don't wanna learn it and would rather it get changed or nerfed.

  7. Hey Tru3, fun vid as always. I do have one critique. I notice sometimes that you somewhat alienate your community. In this clip for instance, you mention many times "if you want to listen" to someone's question on how to counter eruption. I wasn't there on stream, so I won't claim to know the context or the person who asked the question. However, this isn't the first time where (I wouldn't necessarily call it rude, but somewhere under rude) you've talked kind of down to someone. I figure it's not personal to the person asking it, but it may be perceived wrongly. You deal with a lot of trolls on the daily here, on twitch, twitter, etc. Dealing with those people gets tiresome after a while, but I guess here's a reminder that there's a lot of people (like me) that love and support you. We're not all out to get you.

  8. Eruption does have counterplay but for solo the perk itself if quite rough to go against. Also not being able to do anything for 25 seconds feels terrible. Imagine if after you kicked a gen with blast mine you couldn’t use your power for 25 seconds

  12. So your "counterplays"
    1. Only work on gens near the Killer and try to guess when a Survivor will go down?
    2. Have someone literally just sit next to a gen, DOING NOTHING, until Eruption procs?
    3. Be better in a chase? Sure, but what if my teammate isn't? Why am I unfairly punished for that?
    Eruption needs a nerf, by just having a skillcheck pop up when it would proc to determine if you become Incapacitated.

  15. Your advice is non existent. Wdym “be good in chase.” Is that not going through every survivors head by default? Furthermore, if I’m working on my gen and my solo que teammate is being chased, how do I communicate to him and tell him to do good.. tru3, you fell from grace brother

  16. I love all these people making it seem like it’s nothing, where was this energy with all the survivor perks that killers cried about that got nerfed such as ds, iron will, balance landing, etc.

  17. bro, take a break from dbd. play something else. I think youre over thinking about this game. eruption has no counter. nothing that you said is a counter. "be close to the killer when someone is in chase and watch it". bro wtf? this one is awesome: "be good at chase". its really hard to believe that its you sayin this hahaha

  18. Also if you're using bond, or something to see teammates auras. And you see someone who you know is being chased and they dead hard. Then you know they're about to go down so immediately get off the gen and wait. Although this fully relies on either seeing them dead hard closer to you or using bond.

  19. I am just using Repressed Alliance. It is kinda fun to block the gen, so the killer has to decide if he wants to waste his time to wait until RA is gone or he commits to chase me. If he decides to wait, we get 30 seconds free and if he decides to chase me, my mates can go to this genand finish it without having fear to get hit by eruption.

I am gonna be honest, the only way to fix eruption is to either nerf it or add quick chats like “am going down”, at the moment, its just overpowered against solos, sef can’t complain because its their own problem they can’t communicate, but for solos, doing gens alone away from the chases, have nothing to do

  23. ngl im a more casual player (as in i play for a bit and then stop and then play) and eruption is really difficult for me and my friend to deal with. we’re just a duo btw and not a full team. i dont mind that it stops me from doing gens and i think the 2 people on gens thing is a good idea and so is being close. But i feel like its the only killer perk rn that has no counter play for, when you’re far away and have no way of knowing its going to apply to you.

    also i think the other issue is how its built, it wouldn’t be that bad if its just by itself but because gen regression goes quicker if you leave a gen alone youre forced to stay on gens as much as possible. i dont have that much issue when people run eruption by itself, but when its done with that particular build thats when it gets annoying cuz you’re forced into one way of playing and i really dont have fun with that. not because i lose but because the matches become stalemates when i play killer or survivor. so ive been getting on this game way less lately.

    also against a somewhat coordinated team, the perk becomes near useless. ive had games like that where i get a couple eruption procs and then it completely stops. so if anything its just a pub stomping perk which is bad for balance any way you look at it
