Today we jump straight from the 30 days of Chucky into the next 30 days with Billy! Since Billy’s rework I have had a hard time putting him down in my free time so I wanted this to be the next killer for the series to track the growth and mistakes along the way!

  1. Hey Red, if you can I’d love to see you to check out my Wesker build, it’s Blood Warden, Hex Blood Favor, Surge, and last perk is optional though I run Light born for clicky squads, add ons are Chalice(Gold) and Portable Safe.🤙🏼

  2. 25:26 – If you step wider you are allowed to turn tighter,

To explain to beginners- a fraction of walking is easily outweighed by the speed of Billy's Chainsaw.
So positioning yourself so you can curve at different angles is how most difficult tiles need to be played.
Triangular loops almost exclusively use wide stepping and tight curves.

  3. So I was just trying to think which map belongs to which of the killers and I hit a wall with Hag then I hit another wall with (I forget his name based on Jekyll and Hyde) and I was like well he really should have a London looking map and 💡 why dosnt DBD have a Jack the Ripper killer and a Victorian London map? That would be a really cool looking map and based on some of the versions of JTR I’ve seen you can get REALLY inventive with his power set just look at Record of Ragnarok and you could argue that Walter from Helsing was lossy based on jack.

  4. Idk why people don’t go for the m1 on an injured survivor instead of missing 3 chainsaws in a row. Billy is so high mobility now you could purposely only use the chainsaw for movement and the hammer for hits and still have crazy good games with him.

  5. I want to like billy but I’m terrible with him I just can’t control that initial flick and usually end up veering sharply left or right at the beginning of the sprint.

  6. i never really played Billy before the rework, but new Billy looks so much fun, so i played a whole bunch of games wanting to learn how to chainsaw sprint and curve. First 4 games i played: Midwich, Toba, Lerys, Gideon…

  7. One thing I’d love to see tried that I probably won’t see much on Youtube with Billy is some sort of build using the brown Cracked Primer Bulb add-on which increases the charge rate of Overdrive by +15% but makes his chainsaw do only one health state of damage. Obviously losing instant downs on healthy survivors is a big downside, but it would be interesting to try and build around that to still take advantage of the extra Overdrive time.

One possibility might be a pallet shredder Billy build that also uses Lo-Pro Chains since its downside of only doing one health when it wrecks a pallet before a hit doesn’t hurt you any more when you’re already using Cracked Primer Bulb with it. So the build might be something like:

Add-ons: Cracked Primer Bulb, Lo-Pro Chains (quickly shred through all pallets, with the faster Overdrive charge helping gear up to hit the pallets you expect to be dropped even more quickly)

    Perks

    – Enduring (if they pallet stun you the stun is shorter)
    – Spirit Fury (periodically instantly destroy a pallet that stuns you)
    – either Game Afoot (haste after breaking a pallet), Thwack (survivors scream when you break a pallet), or Bamboozle (block windows)
    – a gen slowdown perk to give you additional time to get downs (Surge, Pain Resonance, Grim Embrace, etc)

Then basically at pallets the survivors will hopefully usually be in a tough spot. If they predrop, you just rip through the pallet for a possible hit anyway with Lo-Pro. But if they try and time the drop to stun you then Enduring and Spirit Fury gets you the hit anyway. So their options in chase will be a lot more limited.

P.S. Another facet of that build is it alleviates the notion you need to constantly try to chainsaw hits in the open over basic attacks with it. Sometimes people playing Billy spend a long time trying to land a chainsaw hit at a tight loop, for example, when they could settle for a basic attack hit much more quickly. With this if you can land a basic attack you just do it, no reason to line up the saw, so in a sense it might be a more “casual” build.

  8. Idea: Bizarro Billy
Addons: Cracked Primer and Lo Pro
Perks: Friends till the end, Haunted Grounds, NOED, Make your choice (basically, Exposed perks, you can choose others if you wish)

Otz did something like this years ago, the idea being to make your chainsaw your m1 and your m1 your chainsaw
Aka, use your chainsaw for normal damage unless the survivor is exposed, if so, m1 to instadown
