Hey everyone. We’re currently entering the ninth year of Dead by Daylight. So, I thought we could look back at some of the very worst perks that have existed throughout the years. Looking at 4 terrible perks that existed in every year. Let’s get into it.
At the time of this video’s release Chapter 32.5 has been revealed to be Tomb Raider, with Survivor, Lara Croft!

lol Even still Gearhead is only useful if a survivor is using Hyperfocus + StakeOut AND is actually good at skill checks still (or fully charged up stakeout)…at that point they're basically glowing for the full 30 second duration after that M1 hit lol. It's so freaking useless XD
Knock-Out is a good perk and slugging is a valid strategy. Slugging isn’t inherently toxic, maliciously slugging is. If you slug and let people bleed out for no reason then yes that should be eliminated. But slugging to create pressure? That’s a very valid strategy with multiple perks that reinforce it
Knockout is good in high mmr where slugging for pressure is a good strategy
Surprised to not see quick gambit here. Great video!
You shouldve replaced detective's hunch with surveillance
Mettle of Man made me never trust Behavior again.
I had just bought Ash and started pouring blood points into him to get it, and they nerfed it.
I was like well ok now they got my money and everyone elses’s but they change a perk everyone bought the dlc for.
Nope, I quit for 3+ years shortly after.
I know Shattered Hope exists. It shows up in my blood web constantly.
For Low Profile I don't know if you've taken into account that it can trigger multiple times. From all my escapes, nearly 1/3 is due my low profile cause it was easy to make the killer lose you since it has nothing to track you!
Despite a lot of changes to hangman's trick it still doesnt do anything, the perk just become worst and worst
Fogwise. Ppl tought it would be as good as alert but we were quick to learn that it was kinda useless
Video idea if you haven't already done it "Killer Lore ranked"
Deathbound pairs well with forced penance. Either they stay together and risk becoming broken, or they separate and deal with the oblivious
Only defence i have for septic touch is meme builds.
6:33 I love the new perk
Predator Buff Ideas:
-Survivor scratch marks now only spawn within 1 meter of sprinting survivors.
-When further than 8 meters of any survivor, gain 3% haste when standing on scratch marks.
-When a survivor is injured by a special attack, or vaults an obstacle, this perk stops affecting them for 7/6/5 seconds.
Anyone else ever get anxious when he says "goooooood" at the end of the videos but may not follow up with "bye?" Like he may just scream at us instead or say something to throw off the engraved ritual in my head?
When they first made it where survivors lost add one at the end of the match ace in the hole didn't let you keep the add one you found making it pointless
Here's how you fix death bound: Make the distance they need to stay within 4 meters so not only do certain killer abilities forcably trigger, but also you can separate them through chase. I would also say reduce the distance they get the effect to 24 meters, but there's counterplay in having it be the exact distance of a default terror radius. I do think 32 meters is a bit too big because once they know you have it they can heal closeby and punish you for bringing such a conditional perk
So we aren't talking about Sable at minute 13:47 ?
They should add more free perks that have general use applications for all killers. Like one that applies deafened to survivors when they finish a Gen or something. Eventually there will be enough decent free perks for niche beginner builds
Shattered Hope should seriously be removed and made baseline.
21:25 is it debatable though….
22:33 where’s that one unknon perk
I had no idea about Predator's origins. Why on god's green earth did they see the need to change that?
With Pharmacy, say you bring in a different item or medkit and when that runs out you can get another medkit for as many chests as there are in the trial
Video idea:ranking every meta
Corrective Action gets a lot of use when a teammate uses it because I see it as an excuse to go afk
Would Corrective Action be useful against Merciless Storm? It’s niche, but has potential if it does.
