In today’s video, I will show you the 4 best ways to play Onryo!
Let’s start with my favorite one.
Exposed Onryo Build – In this build we have Make Your Choice, Floods of Rage, Pain Resonance, and Friends till the end!
With Make Your Choice we will be able to punish survivors for saving their teammates.
Floods of Rage has a great synergy with Make Your Choice. Because we will see the aura of the exposed survivor and also we gonna get info about his teammates.
Pain Res we will need to regress gens.
If you want to you can swap Friends Till the End to something else. But I use Friends Till the End for info, and also for a chance to instadown my obsession. Sometimes It can be a game changer. Also, whenever survivors are exposed, they are afraid to do the objective.
From add-ons I always use Bloody Fingernails for the speed bonus, and Mother’s Comb for information.

Build number two Speedy Onryo
As we all know Onryo is not the best killer for chases, and with this build, you can fix this problem.
Save the best for Last – It will reduce the cooldown of successful hits. So basically we will able to continue chasing survivors much quicker.
After a hit, we will have a 5% movement speed bonus from Rapid Brutality and It gonna help a lot in chases. On top of these, I will use Coup De Grace to extend the lunge distance. With these perks, we can outplay survivors in almost any loop in the game.
And of course Pop to regress gens. What about add-ons?.

Build number three Full Slowdown Build.
This build consists of Pain Res, Dead Man’s Switch, Barbecue, and Grim Embrace.
With these slowdown perks, you will definitely have enough time to fully condemn survivors and instantly kill them.
Also, the add-on VCR can be pretty useful with Dead Man’s Switch.

Build number four Hex Onryo Build.
Because of the new perk Dominance now, It’s much easier to get the value from Hex perks.
That is why I decided to use Dominance with Devour hope, Undying, and Ruin.
The best part of this build is that whenever survivors will search for the hex totems, their gens will be regressing by Hex Ruin.
Also on top of this, we will condemn survivors, and because of that survivors will have 3 objectives instead of one.
Firstly they should repair gens, besides that they will go for tapes to get rid of condemnation and also they will try to find my totems.
Because of this they gonna waste so much time, and eventually they will be heavily punished with Devour Hope!

Dead Man's Switch is dying next update (can only trigger once per hook), losing it's synergy with Grim Embrace in the process.
Better to replace them with Deadlock and PGTW.
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing there nerfing it to the ground
Actually, they're nerving it by giving it a token system, but then they're buffing it by giving it fifty seconds
So they're nerfing this build and as a survivor main, I'm upset. Why take away a build that allows for fun long chases and punishes bully squads?
