More bullshit about balancing the game for “casuals”? Not everyone has 20,000 hours and plays this game for a living. A high % of players are decent but NOT top MMR!
Why would you balance the game for the top 1%? Makes more sense to balance it for the experience nearly every player has rather than an elite 1% who spend their entire life on DBD.
That’s pretty slow for gens. Can we get a buff for gens? Maybe all gens in 1:40 secs is fast enough. 😂
Watching pro killers complain that they have to play to win vs good survivors is mind boggling. Your complaining about winning being hard when your being matched against the sweatiest people because you're literally a pro player. Of course you have to 3 gen or tunnel or whatever. That's the best way to win. The survivors are doing gens, which is also the best way to win. You got a 4k and the only thing that got you even a little worked up was the fact that you had to 3 gen to do it. You won and your mad about having to use the best strategy to accomplish it. What the community of this game wants is not possible in this game without a complete overhaul of the entire game. Basically you can only hope for a sequel.
You're dead wrong. Most games value casual players. RTS devs get this wrong all the time which is why SC2 is still the reigning RTS. SC2 players mostly play campaign or coop in one form or another. But SC2 is an eSport and must be balanced at high level as well as casual play. Ideally you balance the game for high level play and casual play. If you can't do both, you balance for casual play bc high level play in a game with no money as an esport is like 1% of players and you just need the game to look fun for the people who watch them play. Otherwise their opinions don't matter. The people spending all the money are the casuals. The vast majority of your players are casual. The vast majority of your players don't watch youtubers bc they have precious few hours to play games. Those are casuals. In eSports big tournaments and money draw attention to the game so balance matters at the pro level a lot more than for a game like DBD. You want good games. DBD viewers, judging from the videos I constantly see, don't want to watch good games. They want to watch killers get owned, or swfs get owned. I feel for you folks that do this for a living. Ultimately it's a job though. I just hope you have something fun to play on your days off cause a lot of you seem to be hurting with the current meta in terms of job satisfaction. And I do get it. But, did you even sweat a little the first match? Maybe had a little heart beat rise with the DS. You already had the whole match planned out from the start and it worked exactly like you expected.
MMR seems to be working as expected at high levels… but it's not working right at low levels.

Survivors who put themselves in bad spots like this cannot complain about losing. It's 2023, how do you not understand that you cannot focus on all the gens on one side of the map? I play with teammates who religiously go for gens on one side or the map or the gens tucked in the corner of the map and wonder why we lose. smh.

Had this happen to me on haddonfield today because I left the 3 gen for a literal 30 seconds. Survivors want to play a generator repair simulator it seems and devs haven't done anything since beta to change that. A huge debuff needs to happen or secondary objectives.

i never really comment on videos but.. this is some crazy shit, people in the comments doing mental gymnastics to somehow blame u and your style of play, you did exactly what had to be done in order to win, honestly if i ever get to that MMR ill just uninstall the game, feels like a job (and a very shitty one) to "win".
No offense, are you baiting at this point ? The title of your video is “4 gens done in 2 min 40 seconds”. If you want me to do a deep dive into this and explain everything wrong, I can if you wish. But I guess for a quick TLDR; yes, if you basically go afk and allow survivors to do their objective, they will do them.
I honestly feel like you’re either baiting at this point or not thinking things through thoroughly. I’ll explain in the best way possible if you wish to hear / listen.
Honestly I kinda wish they added that one status effect to legions base special attack hits, I think it’s mangled I’m probably wrong but whatever effect that slows gens down for some time and make it so survivors have to heal for the effect to stop.

Honest question, was some cheating going on or is deadlock bugged? We see at 1:28 that this gen has no progress but at 1:53 the first gen pops with deadlock activated but no gens are blocked. Then at 2:00 we see that the next gen pops which should've blocked Nea's gen but it instead blocks the gen with no progress. Is that strange to anyone else?
this game is 100% unplayable for killer if you don't pick gen perks higher up its always going to be gen meta cause gens get done way way to fast, thats why its extremely dumb! the killer chase perks and alot of hex totems take to much time and are not good!. like WHY the hell is lullaby and devour even a hex totem on the match for survivors to cleanse without even getting a stack yet. it shouldn't spawn on the map until you get your first hook. i get destroyed not because survivors are good just because to many damn pallets/ god pallets in this game and gens take no time to do its like WTF do you do commit to a chase or chase each survivor for 15secs lol! find the weakest survivor camp or tunnel them out in higher gameplay. killer makes 1 or 2 mistakes it can cost them the game. survivors make multiple mistakes its okay they have 3 lives.
i have to say I loved how you recovered from that 4 gen one hook and how you caught off guard the first person at the 3 gen at the beginning of the match. Very well played! loved it
