5 Original Killers I’d like to see added to Dead by Daylight!

Hey everyone, today we’re going to discuss some largely unexplored territory for Dead by Daylight’s original characters. Some of my favourite DLCs for this game have been original ones. So, as there’s often theorising about licenses, I thought it’d be fun to theorise about some original chapters, and some killer types we haven’t quite explored yet.

Chapter 22 has been released! With this chapter we have a new killer, The Artist, a new survivor, Jonah Vasquez, and a new map, Eyrie of Crows, part of the new Forsaken Boneyard realm. It’s great, and I’ve been having fun so far!

  1. Could I just mention how these could all be equated to the main Universal movie monsters: Werewolf-Wolfman, Vampire-Dracula, Aquatic killer-Creature from the Black Lagoon, Ancient killer-The Mummy, Future/sci-fi killer-Frankenstein's Monster/The Invisible Man. I know we're looking for unlicensed killers, but, who knows? Maybe these could be good inspiration like how Trapper was inspired by Jason.

  2. I'd like another animal-like killer like Demo. As much as I hate them a spider-like creature that draws from the Entity's spider-like appearance could be cool. I'd make it stealthy and can do something with webs to slow down survivors (Like you place web on the ground like Pyramid Head does his trail) and you buld up "web power" or something by stalking.
But holy shit people with arachnophobia would absolutely hate a killer like that, myself included

  3. I made a Dead By Daylight concept chapter: (Just know this was something I thought of and is my own creation so I’m sorry if you don’t like it in any way.)
New map: Jerry’s base (A broken down military base in Soviet Russia after the First World War.)
New killer: The General (Alexander Volkov was a general in the Soviet Union who was violent tempered, but when he was always there in times of crisis, one day he was given the chance to lead his own army, he led several battles in the invasion of Germany in 1944. However, while he was close to leading troops in Germany in 1945 he was fatally shot by a German sniper and was on the brink of death, but then a black smoke engulfed him and he was in a realm that scared him, this wasn’t Germany or Russia, it was something new) New power: Sharp eye (you can use a secondary weapon at your disposal, you can only use it 6 times and can use it more when you get ammo from lockers (it’s like Deathslinger’s power and huntress’s power combined) and when survivors are hit they will suffer from the deep wound status effect and used on them three times will put them in the dying state.) 3 perks: 1. For the people (You have a strong bond to the entity. When you use your secondary power against a survivor, the entity will block windows and pallets 10 meters near the survivor) 2. I’m serious (Your anger benefits you sometimes. When you are stunned by a pallet of blinded you get a small movement speed increase the next time you’re in a chase. The perk deactivates when you are stunned or blinded when using the perk.) 3. (Being in the military made you strategize greatly. You are obsessed with one survivor. Each time you hit your obsession or put them on a hook. You get the undetectable status effect for 30 seconds after you put the obsession on the hook and you see the auras of all survivors for 2 seconds after the obsession is unhooked.)
New Survivor: James LeBleu (A Louisiana native who came from a family of soldiers, wanted to be just like his family members, he got that wish, and had a loving family, and was a strong person in his faith who often helped people in need, including the sick. But one day, a tragedy happened, he was visiting his mother when a fire started and he was hospitalized and somehow he was in a realm of suffering and hate, he decided to help as many people as he can.)
3 perks: 1. I’m here (You have a strong bond with people at any time even if they are vulnerable. When you heal the obsession, you two share an aura of each other, while doing cooperative actions you two see the killer’s aura for 5 seconds) 2. Not Today (Fighting for others always benefits you. If you heal another survivor or take a protection hit, the perk activates. When the perk activates, the next time you are on a hook and when you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you make no noise notification for the killer. The perk deactivates the next time you are put in the dying state.) 3. Head in the game (You have a way of pulling yourself together in dangerous situations. When you do cooperative actions you get a token. Max. 3. You use a token to get out of the killer’s grasp, recover from the dying state, or have failed skill checks for you or others turned into good skill checks.)

  4. A killer idea that popped into my head was a pirate killer with 4 flintlock pistols that they can shoot each time they're shot a sort of spinner is spun and it has a 25 percent chance to combust and hinder themself a little and the little explosion it creates could hurt survivors but if it doesn't and it hits a survivor then it deals half a health state add on's could lessen the chance of combustion, give you stronger but more risky pistols, a meme add on which gives a 100 percent chance to blow up but increases the explosion radius or even a iridescent head type ability where it's one shot down but like a 75 percent chance it is luck based but I thought it was cool

  5. My idea for a killer is a Gladiator that craves Glory and blood or a another western themed chapter like chains of hate because that's my favorite chapter because it has

  6. I feel like having an underwater map would be kinda cool, where survivors would have to swim deep below the ocean to repair generators while having diving suits and where the killer would have to swim after them.

  7. honestly that's exactly where i can't complain abt bhvr, i thank god everyday they don't care abt obvious picks like vampire and werewolf (with all due respect 😅), especially because if they ever do them, they'll probably be licensed characters (maybe the reason why they don't bother abt it)
when it comes to new killers they all feel grounded but at the same time BONKERS, always unique and new, it's always fun to see what they'll come up with next cuz every time i have no idea what it will be

  8. Just an FYI. An your more than welcome to use it.

But in one of your other videos I commented on with the first thing you talked about in this one but just a simple change up.

An the idea also went along with having survivors actually fight back in a way.

But the character is kinda a Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde type. Where since I guess I would have to modify the idea a bit.

Have five survivors with one of them being the Dr.Jekyll character and that survivor turns into Mr.Hyde at unsuspected times an there you go.

Or even just going with that it could just be a random survivor transforms into the killer/monster making it where maybe everyone gets a turn at being the killer in a round.

    So yea.

  9. If we're talking ancient killers I think something from Conan or inspired by it could work really well. I know that seems like a stretch but if you've read the original Conan stories or are familiar with the context they were written it, they make a lot more sense. Conan was written in the 30s for a Magazine called weird tales, back then weird meant horror and it was the same Magazine H.P. Lovecraft worked under. Conan has dealt with ghosts, vampires, giant spiders, eldritch gods, giant snakes, an evil monkey monster that's perpetually oozing and can only be harmed by a magic sword, a winged monstrosity, man hyenas, evil sorcerers, dragons. He helped an Alien Elephant person kill a sorcerer with a gem. Like you can make some weird creepy stuff and it doesn't necessarily have to make sense if you do it right with it bring so ancient and unknowable.
