  1. I don’t think that he’s a low tier killer when I first tested him in the new patch, even though he does feel a bit weaker, it’s also due to his 14 second cooldown making him feel a bit slower, but he’s still a fine pick if you get used to it, because (HOLY) yesterday I was landing unexpectable hit with the slower speed of SnD, even though he feels a bit clunky than spirit, but I guess that’s ok (I just wish that he was more fun to play as and against🫤)

  2. 5:28 I think that is the problem with making videos like this the community and Behavior work on two very different balance perspectives. I think all that Behavior care about are kill rates and pick rates. They see pick rate or especially kill rate go up and they nerf. They deviated from that before but that is their default reason for making balance changes.

  3. Personally, I think the biggest problem playing against him was his size. I’ve never hated playing against Chucky anyway because I love the character but the size is what ales him so unpredictable and lethal. I think they could’ve done something to try to fix that by increasing the height of his red stain and adding the ghost of Charles above him while you’re in chase. Then see how he performed after that. I would bet a LOT of hits Chucky gets would go down atp.

  4. Idk I never really had a problem playing against chucky once they removed manual scamper. Tbh I think they're just listening to twitter survivors too much and it kinda shows with them intentionally dumpstering skull merchant until they can figure out what to do with her in a year, and now these random shotgun nerfs to chucky. I wish they would make smaller changes and be a little more conservative instead of just pulling out a sledgehammer whenever they wanna tune something down.

  5. I think they buried to the ground honestly. I played few match against really bad survivors (4K) and I was screaming against the screen. He is honestly worse than hag. If I have to play a 110 killer I’m going to play spirit. I’m done play deathslinger and hag. I was really enjoying chuky. I love the first movie the rest is pretty lame but anyway I was really enjoying play him. He was fun to play with and against. The 32 meters of terror radius feel little bit punishing but the dash and the speed were worth it. Now he is only a bad product of bhvr standarization

  6. I dont think low skill floor k should be A however however i dont think they should be c either and thats where i would place him up against competent survivors. Personally 12 second cool down plus the current dash speed and slow manuel scamper i think is the sweet spot. New Chuckys i would see taking slow manuel scampers at non optimal times so that could possibly raise his skill floor but leaving him with a cooldown versatile enough to take on mosts swfs. He does need some add on changes as well.

  7. I think the main problem with Chucky is that he was very strong but too easy to play. at least compared to other killers like Blight, Wesker, or even Xenomorph.

Maybe Bhvr wanted to make Chucky more difficult to play, but the problem is that he can barely reach anyone anymore. Because even though his dash is longer, it doesn't matter if he is too slow to catch up to them.

Chucky was either flawed from day one, because he had a simple but strong power or people just dont wanna learn how to play against him.

I had one friend say "Chucky should never have come to the came! No killer should be this short" and then i am like.. Victor is in the game.. and he is about the same height as Chucky.. is he not allowed to be here too?

If i could change anything about Chucky, then i would just revert all the changes he got in 8.4.1. Because he is just not fun or satisfying to play anymore.

  8. Anecdote: I honestly could be going against terrible players, but I’m still getting wins with him. I rarely mash “Ctrl+Rclick”. I usually try to stay in HHM for a long time to put some use into Undetectable. That can be suddenly switch target to someone on a generator, or to make it harder for my opponent to locate me in chase on a gym because I’m tiny and have no red stain.
Basically, even Ghost Face and Wraith have notable disadvantages to on-demand undetectable, and most killers with Undt perks are too tall to use it to hide anyway.
Basically it was annoying to see most people conclude “Chucky’s Power is S&D, a dash with a cooldown.”

  9. Chucky players finally admitting that it isn't a strength issue just shows that some Killer players just like the feeling of spamming abilities. When you play Killers(weaker ones at that) that naturally have wayyyy longer cooldowns, you start seeing how laughable a 2 second nerf is..
