Quit is such a silly word, both past and present tense! Anyone else Quit DBD when Legion released?
i want old legion back.
infinite mending bug and speedy clown bug where the most fun ive had with killers
nah they should make legion be more like an impersonnator.. who could litteraly like remove his mask and become like a survivor… no TR, but they he need to put his mask on and draw his knife which take time, and "tramsform" into a killer…
he should simply be running and vaulting like a survivor not faster, and be kindof a stealth killer.
Legion caused my boyfriend to quit too
Im pretty sure the next killer is a hockey player gone mad, taking down ever player with his skills to get kills
I actually have an idea for a legion rework
So, legion currently has 2 major downsides, 1. power can only injure survivors, rarely ever downs
2. Punished for M1-ing
So for a rework idea I thought of something like this
Feral frenzy- every hit, gain a token of EXCITEMENT. whenever you hit a healthy survivor, they fall into injured state, and your power refreshes. Whenever you hit an injured survivor, they fall into deep wound, and your power resets. When you hit deep wound, you do not fall out of frenzy, but your frenzy does not reset. When you down a survivor with frenzy, you go into FEROCITY.
Vaulting windows and pallets consume 1/3 of your frenzy. At the end of frenzy, lose all tokens of EXCITEMENT
Excitement: with each token, gain 2% haste and 5% increased turn sensitivity. At the end of frenzy, every token of excitement adds .3 seconds of fatigue.
Ferocity: does not refill your frenzy meter, however you will not suffer fatigue at the end of the frenzy, unless you attack again. The attack made in ferocity will injure and deep wound, but your cool down is longer.
Idk let me know if it’s too good.
I feel like Legion should have a mechanic where they can disguise as a survivor and change it by going into a locker. In the disguised state they dont have a terror radius, killer speed, or redlight but cant attack. They permanently play in 3rd person like a survivor regardless of state. Upon exiting the disguised state they have a short animation of putting a mask on whatever player disguise they have on and pulling out a knife.
Obviously they'd be bad vs a SWF but not every killer needs to be strong or playable vs SWFs.

Dowsey, do you have any tips on playing DbD without losing your shit?
I think it would be cooler if Legion had 4 masks that represents all 4 teens. Each mask would have a power or a different ability to either help in chase or something. I just thought of this so sorry I can’t go in depth more.
cant wait for VHS relase so i can leave this shi t game 4 ever
Killer that blocks comms, copies survivors and what they are wearing, getting rid of their terror radius.
I didn't play like this because I didn't know about ANd it probably wouldn't make the game fun for me as a killer main
I quit because I got tired of all the cheating and hacking. But I still watch all the dbd content lol
When does VHS release?
I love the concept of a killer blending in with survivors. Maybe they could shape shift into any survivor on the map with a cool down. When they shift back into a killer it would be like wraith. It would be pretty crazy in my opinion
Shape Shifter killer. Skill is to transform into the exact model of survivors on the map, maybe 3 second transformation. Then they enter third person and move just like a survivor. Come out of transformation, maybe like 1 second, and to make it a bit more fair, speed boost upon emergence. No terror obviously while transformed. I'm sure I could add more nuance to this, but I think it's a fun idea as is. It could work against people on comms too if you're clever enough as killer.
Moonwalking legion would be good at hockey.
I never actually had a moment where i straight up quit DbD. i did however take many breaks here and there, but man do i remember the days of early legion… Times i wish to forget, but times i wish to remember so we don't make the same mistakes. I know i hadn't really played much DbD recently because I've been busy with other games, and i might hop onto DbD again for a little bit when the new chapter releases. But i think the only thing that would probably get me to stay on DbD and play it for hours without pause would probably be a Dead Space Chapter. That's literally the only thing that would keep me on DbD on a consistent basis. But if DbD ever makes a second Legion then i probably would stop playing the game until it is fixed… Unless that second Legion happens to be with the Dead Space chapter then that would be quite the pickle for me LMAO.

the way u described him kinda gave me an idea for a concept:
what if, instead, they made it so that legion actually convinced other survivors to become part of the group? like the power is to convince survivors to injure other survivors (maybe with some sort of build-up like: sadako's curse or old freddy sucking survivors into the dream world) and it would end after theyve successfully attacked another survivor or if a timer runs out (idunno if thatd make him too weak but it seems balanced). i feel like itd fit the lore as well seeing has how frank convinced his posse to get into killing.
feel free to ask questions if i didnt explain it well enough.
I quit after legion came out, I loved his power but after it got nerfed i just gave up and said oh well, cause before the nerf he was annoying asf, and after he was useless.
Yeah I feel like this killer power should have been the ability to pretend to be the survivor
Damn it Dowsy your a traitor and a quitter? Lol
Kind of suprised no one remembers infinite mending legion
Elden Ring! Dude go play it. You'll have a blast and there pvp and pve. You can invade!! Way better than killer
I quit because the game gave me repeated matches where I couldn't even get one hook at times. That demoralized me. This continued for 3 weeks before I quit. Now since the Ringu is coming out I've decided to give it another chance and playing casual in low rank lobbies is so much fun that it makes the three weeks of pain I've experience feel like a lie. I hope I continue to stay in low rank lobbies. (Because I usually get atleast 2 kills now. These lobbies are just much more relaxed, and I don't have to try hard to only get one kill)
If this is now the game, then I'm willing to keep playing till Ringu comes out. I just really hope I don't rank up to harder lobbies because the literally 3 weeks of repeated failure has given me a small trauma of high ranks. Actually, the only reason I'm playing is, so I have some blood points ready for the Ringu character when she comes out. I'm excited to play her because she seems like fun.
Anyway, I did quit because of weeks of try-hards and a lot of "circle of healing" just being painful to deal with, especially when my main playstyle was hit and run
which means I'd hit a survivor and just leave them to go hit another one, and you can't really do that with the healing circle.
Which is probably why I got destroyed 3 weeks in a row. Granted I didn't play every day of those three weeks, just maybe 5 or 3 hours every odd day or so, that and on every weekend.
It was demoralizing and I just didn't want to play anymore so I quit. I was excited for VHS, but I just don't like playing the monster in that game as much as I used to enjoy playing killer in DBD (I prefer being an unstoppable killer over being a vulnerable monster). However, like I said I'm now in low ranks, so most matches are rather easy.
(Not that I stomp the survivors, it just means I can get 2 kills without having to sell my soul.)
And that's what I want from my game. A casual fun game to play when stressed to relieve some tension. Not a game that causes tension.
On a side note, I can't wait for the Ringu chapter. (And yes, I do play survivor too, I just don't really have many friends to do survive with friends with. And to be honest I'm not a very good survivor, I'm either way to altruistic and get myself killed or I just fail at running the killer. My builds kinda suck too, either I run an absolutely evil build like deliverance, DS, DH, and BT. Other times I feel like I'm allowed to not go full meta and that I can use fun perks like pebble. Pebble is easily my favorite perk; I mean it's single handedly made me laugh more than any other perk ever. The pebble perk is like one of the only reasons really enjoy when I play survivor.)
Legion went from a busted killer to a near dumpster killer. Killer balance at its finest.
I used to think since they were referred to as "the Legion", I thought it was one guy with multiple personality disorder and the 4 personalities were in one body.
Imo legion should be part stealth killer. Like when they frenzy there would still be heartbeats etc but when out there wouldn’t be
There was also that infinite mend bug on legion too
The way the trailer was done was defiantly a red herring b.s I 100% agree with all of this
I remember this dumb shit that also caused me to quit on legions release
With the comms issue, if they let you change killers during the ready faze, and actually told killers when there was a party in your lobby. I think it would fix a lot of issues. Or at least give the tools so you can level the playing field.
I love hag, but teams absolutely ruin gameplay for her. Had to take a break, cause I just dont have many killers I enjoy as much as her. idk.
Feels like it can be one sided for many reasons, playing killer or survivor. Each match revolves around so much RNG. Makes the MMR system even worse.
Great video. Legion looked like a pain LOL
I quit DBD for several months when starstruck/distressing nurse was a thing. Not a darn thing you could do, and all the speed runs. I was waiting 8 minutes for a game, loading in and the whole team was wiped in 2 minutes. Thankfully I haven't seen another one since I came back.
I remember thinking the same thing about Legion when he was teased, I wanted him to pretend to be a survivor so bad
I nearly quit after legion came out but i didnt get into dbd at the tjme so I didnt care
Maybe Legion´s feral frenzy could hide his terror radius to fit the first trailer concept. But the dumbest thing about Legion is his incapacity to down survivors with his own power. I don´t know how they could fix this.
I cannot tell you how many times I accidentally did the out of chase thing, like I refused to do the Legion cheese but literally if you broke a pallet and they kept running you couldn't catch back up and they'd bleed out
