Sometimes you make content and sometimes you miss the target, I feel the video that recently sparked controversy was questionable, atleast enough so that I had to take a look at myself and what I was doing as a content creator going forward. I feel that SpooknJukes pulled the video apart and made it more than it was, at the same time I understand where all of you guys are coming from on both sides of it.
This is my statement to accept responsibility for what I created and how it was poorly made, with the intent of showcasing solo survivor games and how one person can affect the game, but it was poorly handled and ended up moving outside of that box, I can see that now, retrospect is a wonderful thing.

I again, apologise to everyone affected by this back and forth and the original video, I need to take care more when I approach these topics as you are all a witness to them, it’s not my place to pull apart someone undeserving, even though I thought it was so close to the margin, I can appreciate it was enough to cross it. Please accept this as a final statement to the entire ordeal and know that I will adapt and grow from this, you won’t see anything so close to the line again.

More about Dead By Daylight:

A group of up to four survivors must elude one killer. The survivors’ perspectives are third-person, while the killer’s perspective is first-person. The survivors cannot fight against the killer and can only survive by running away and evading them. They must use obstacles in the form of wooden pallets, windows, and items that they either find inside chests or bring before the match starts to run from the killer for as long as they can. In order to escape, survivors must repair 5 generators scattered across the entire map to power the exit gates, then they must open the exit gates and leave the area themselves or find a hatch to jump into.

  1. If I can recommend anything, without saying "bring back that video":
What I would love to see more from you is you laughing at your own jokes. ^^ Do that more often, I liked that.
For sure next time without picking on someone, but your laughing made me enjoy the video a lot.

  5. Not many dbd content creators can acknowledges their mistakes. Some just go to the media and try to shift the blame or ignore it. Really glad that you can learn from the mistakes, as we know all of us will make many, its just how you deal with them in the end that counts! Keep up that postive energy man ✌

  6. I'd been lurking on your channel a bit here and there, I absolutely love your method of handling Trash talking survivors, you just own up to what got you the win and talk like a parent who's coaching their kids to move on and do better in the next game or that it was a mistake in the game's system that they got matched up with you. It kind of completely undermines 90% of those who trash talk and quickly takes away their high ground.. It just feels like Satire is your thing when you go at it

Aside from that I'd always kind of thought that you and Spooks did try and help curb some of the toxicity in the community, maybe this could lead to more projects together? Or discussions over behavior that builds up toxicity and ways to alleviate it.. Personally I would like to hear some other peoples takes on Casual Toxicity vs Elite Toxicity.. Or rather the idea that "I bought the game, I have the right to ruin other peoples games (Hacking, harassment, willful ignorance) vs "If you're not at least as good as me, uninstall the game (Gatekeeping, harassment for not being good)"

Just saying that I think there's some people who take even the messages you and spooks say and misconstrue them into something else entirely.. A good chunk of the time those that do it are doing it on purpose, but some could easily take for instance "Play the game the way you want to play." and be like "Okay. I choose hacking." or "So I can harass people for fun and ruin their games?"

Anyways. I'm glad this ended up with a happy ending..

  8. Good on you for deleting the video. I was recently introduced to your content. I like to watch players like Zubat, Otz, Yerv and Scott Jund when he played mostly because they take a relaxed approach to gameplay and the videos they produce. Its a good motto for a channel to be having a casual type of gameplay. I took an interest in the Ayrun video only cause I watch him too and was curious. At the end of the day you can focus on entertaining or by making those kinds of videos. I used to take the game super serious so I know competitive aspect as well. A year or 2 ago I quit the game because I just was taking it too seriously. I came back months later and said F it I am not gonna care if I die alot. You will get there too and when you do, it wont be so aggravating to play more for fun rather competition. But its your channel good luck either way.

  9. Respect! It's really great to see you reflect and realize your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone owns up to them so they can do better in the future. And to me, that's the most important thing, to grow as a person and try to be understanding of others. I wish you the best Jay, and I'm excited to see what your future content holds!

No worries man everyone makes mistakes I understood the message you were trying to put out initially I didn’t take it as a bully vid in my opinion I get what you were trying to say but everyone has their own take on things.you are a great content creator in my opinion and I genuinely think you are a good person that’s the reason I watch your videos so keep at it and love that you were able to check yourself.

  13. i respect you admitting you did wrong i am friends with mezo aswell and i did feel it was unecessary some of the stuff said in the video was really dumb but you were the better person and took the feedback. I feel the content you should stick with is the stuff you did on Thatgaybear as he was very problematic and i think you should stick with more problematic streamers. Again good job for owning up to your mistakes, respect.

  14. So removing your Ayrun playlist when Jay ? You apologised so we accept it? Ayrun apologised for the strike yet it doesn’t seem good enough for you does it? You go out of your way to personally like comments that call Ayrun a waste of life . Reinforcing hatred against him. It’s nothing short of harassment and I sincerely hope that you look at that part of your channel too.

  15. So…i came from spooknjukes and I wanted to really bad to come over and give my mind but in respect for him and being a “representative” of his fan base I didnt. I didn’t like the way the video happened but then I just now stumbled upon the video you and him made and I gotta say…I’m a fan of you and in a way I should apologize and say I was wrong for feeling that way. For you to come and apologize and just take what happened and grow..man I got nothing but respect for you. I never had Ill will or anything but I didn’t like the attitude of things. The community needs people like you guys ESPECIALLY in the DBD community and me as well as a super small DBD streamer with hopes and aspirations to be full time one day I deal with rude people day in and day out who constantly tell me to end my life and etc. I am sorry and I appreciate you❤️ it may not seem like much but you definitely get my sub on YouTube and follow on twitch❤️

  16. You are a good man and ofc we all make mistakes and those mistakes are a really important part of our life cos we learn from them. You are a really wise and kind person and mistakes don't define us. Nobody can say that never made a mistake or got angry, etc. So nobody should try to be a judge and pretend to be perfect. It's way better to try to talk about it and help each other in a situation like this. I'm happy that all this ended up so well. It's the way it should end always, with respect for each other. Lots of love! (sorry for my English, I try to improve it ^^) Hugs!
