  1. MMR does not matter, never has and probably never will because it never has, never had and probably never will represent actual skill. You can be a shit killer player and you'll face sweaty survivors, you can be "top" MMR killer and you'll face absolute scrub survivors. There is no matchmaking because there's not enough people playing in your region at the same time as you.

Why do people think CROSS PLAY EXISTS? Exactly to widen the Pool of Players for MMR to "work". We don't have crossplay because we need more players, we have Cross Play because MMR needs a bigger pool of players.

I started playing in 2018 on PS4 before we had all this stuff and i got matches pretty fast at any time of the day. After Crossplay and MMR tho? Forget it… The system prioritizes Cross Play Players for Matchmaking before everything else. IT will match all the Cross Play Players and then figure something out for non crossplay players.

IT's why its nearly impossible to find Matches with all 5 players on the same platform in a reasonable time frame. Cross Play is just robbing players from each platform to make a match ASAP, even MMR doesn't matter cause we can clearly see and prove that matches are unbalanced AF.

Then yeah Maps are atrocious and any given killer can be OP or UP.

  2. I like the variation in kill rates. It means you can choose a lower tier killer and still win, even if it is based on maps it makes sense because if you have all strong killers and all balanced maps then the game wouldn’t be nearly as fun because of the variation

  3. I have been playing a lot of Sadako lately

And for the most part I have been doing okay. And usually it is map related. If I get a larger map I really struggle.

But the quality of survivors vary so much. One game it's god tier survs that can loop me for days and the next it one running 1 perk that doesn't look behind them

I'm finding it all very inconsistent

  4. If the win rate for a character is equal or higher than 53% in any multiplayer game, that character is considered OP, becomes meta and needs a nerf.

Dbd killer mains: "Killers Need buffs! Survivors bully me!" while the lowest character has 56% win rate in high mmr….

  5. 'If' we have to take this data as truth, then I guess it only confirms that I am being targeted by cheaters. I get a ridiculous amount of lobbies where survivors complete 3 gens in 60 secs flat from the match start. 2 gens to go with 4 ppl alive… good luck. Usually those matches end in 4-5mins. If you don't tunnel anyone there, it is mathematically impossible to get a kill in terms of time.

  6. For me what this datas shows is 3 things:
    1) Tier list aren't that acurate and depend much more on opinions and known playstyles.
    2) Killers think to much about kill rate, the most important thing should be the fun, not how many kill you can get no matter how or how disrepectfully you play.
    3) Survivors are slower than i thought to adjust for new killers; like now with Wesker; and mostly changes for the killers; like the change for the box of the pig.

  7. And btw. I am propably one of your biggest haters and i ALWAYS said you are right with this MMR stuff… its a hoax…they just made what they said…remember?
They aid "Lets make ranks invisible"…
    There was backlash…
then they said they don`t do it, instead of that they implement MMR…
    invisible…
I say they did sh…Matchmaking is the same BS that it always was!

1:50 THAT would be so, IF the people were the same. But nobody who says "I have 4ks but no fun" is one of the People that says "only 4ks matter"…Those are two opposing groups in the DBD Community! Technically the old 4k vs 12 hooks discussion, just in another form…

3:25 man…4th time in the same Video that i agree…what happens here?!?!

5:15 ok disagree! These statistics is with alle the "sweatty stuff" how you call it included. If all Killers would not camp, tunnel and Slug, these Numbers would NOT be that high for SURE!

6:00 Another disagree. Last time I could play for 12 hooks in this game without TCS was in 2019. When i try to do it, 50% of the time i have no chance! And i agree with you that the reason for that are the maps! Every Map they reworked got worse after the rework! Every single one of them!

  8. I don't believe in MMR, sometimes i put the game on ice for a few months and return after rank reset and get matched with killers and teammates that im familiar with before when i used to play everyday

  9. It's funny how when the previous data on survivors was released everyone took it as the Bible. Now this data went out and everyone takes the context it fits better to their narrative, and it's kinda…concerning.
However cool video! It's always good to hear your opinion Scott.

  10. MMR is a pointless thing I hate that people bring it up like it’s a valid point to win argument. This update sucks no matter what you say it does. Play solo a whole day and see what happens!

  11. I have to disagree here. You say that killer stays at the High MMR are not a valid metric because Nurse and Blight are “better” killers (clarify what you mean by this – Nurse and Blight on average get the most reward if assumed at the top skill level, but aren’t even top ten in terms of practicality or their efficiency across all skill levels), yet they are ranked lower than some weaker killers.

If you look at the data again, you’ll notice on BOTH charts all of the top killers have some kind of secondary objective that either halt the game or put you at significant disadvantage without any interaction from the killer. Plague’s Vile Purge automatically injures you, Wesker’s infection gives you major speed debuffs, Pinhead’s Box keeps survivors from looping or doing gens, Pig’s bear traps automatically kill you based on RNG etc..

You know who that’s most devastating to? Solo queue players, I.e. the grand majority of the player base. The simple fact is that against uncoordinated teams, those killers are far more lethal, with less effort than a Nurse or Blight can ever be. Keep in mind, SupaAlf is on a 450+ win streak and counting, and a Blight player’s 632 win streak got snapped only recently, on top of general killer buffs, some addons like Adrenaline Vial and Torn Bookmark got buffs, and they’re STILL below the secondary objective killers. And guess what? Where is every killer that doesn’t have a notable secondary objective on the list in high MMR? Below Nurse, Blight and Spirit. Funny how that works right?

The chart are inaccurate only if you take tournament level survivors and killers into account, which is not reflective of the average DBD experience and should be disregarded in these discussions.
