One more indicator, all be it small one, for the tome being set before SAW, is that Tapp just looks a lot younger ingame than in the movie.
Fun Fact about the game ( the first one anyway). It's written by James Waan And Leigh Weinall. Making it canon somewhat to the first film, and its also set in between the 1st and 3rd films. Also highly recommend play8ing through it once, its cheesy but fun. And hearing Tobin Bell voice Jigsaw is always a treat. Amazing video by the way, Tapp is one of my favorite Saw characters and a main of mine in DBD! <2

it's funny back in the day i mained tapp then i moved to steve jake then king but with the new tome i moved back to tapp and im loving tapp right now.

It really does say something that such a devoted saw fan mixes up the saw entries several times lol. No disrespect or anything, god knows I would do much worse, it just goes to show how convoluted the franchise is.

I'm gonna say something and I know that there will be people who disagree with me and that's okay. In my opinion saw 5 is bad but I honestly think that spiral is worse, for me saw 5 is bad it still does feel like a saw movie where as spiral feels more like saw fans trying to make a saw movie but missing the mark by a bit.
Welp only one thing to say. BEhaviour actually are horror fans and found a way to make the SAW movies connect like a Jigsaw Puzzle.
