ACTUALLY CHOY all this proves is that the top 5% of survivors are trash. If BHVR cared about good data they would share the stats of the top 0000000.1% of MMR.
nah that dredge player is like one guy I never see any dredges
“Nurse is op” has low win rate 😂
Eh, the problem with those top 5% stats is it doesnt speak to who the killer is playing against. Id rather see the kill rates for killers in the top 5% when theyre facing top 5% survivors. Show me that number. I win like 75% of my games, i doubt im in the top 5% of killers and i KNOW most of those won games arent against the top 5% of survivors (thats the 25% i lose 😂)
btw behvr patched a lot of things for cheaters this month..no holding hostage..insta gen repair etc…
wdym that huntress mains are the biggest chads? we all know the real biggest chads are demo mains.
Ngl could be worst with pick rates
Pick rates matter equally as much and it would show something completely different.
Proof that many people don’t know how to master Freddy or Myers.
this puts a smile on my face
they need to give pick rates along with the kill/Hook rates. For example nobody plays Twins and Sadako except for OnePumpWillie and Lynxi. so these are basically their statistics lmao.
Give my boy slinger some buffs pleeeeaaasddeeeee
Well, goodbye Wesker, plague, dredge, oni, Sadako, blight, nurse, pig, wrists and twins.
You all have 60% kill rates which instantly means your op in the eyes of BHVR
Trapper is doing his job well by representing he's the worst killer in the game lol.
Relative pick rate tells a far more compelling story. Weskers account for 16% of all games, but 25% of high MMR games. They are practically failing to the top.
Something things that I just really feel like are ignored by this information:
~ In a match of DbD there is a lot of nuance with maps, RNG, etc.
~ Nurse and Blight, despite being the best killers in the game, do not have the highest killrates at top MMR.
~ Wesker, Plague, and Dredge are far from the best killers in the game other than maybe Plague since she top tier given the right build. Dredge is very mediocre and carried by addons; and Wesker is also kind of just mediocre but at least their basekit can stand on it's own and addons are really good.
~ This is ignoring the elephant in the room, which I have stated this before, top MMR is a LOT more casual than people make it out to be in most cases, a majority of the top tier players for survivor and killer play comp, which means most of them are in custom matches which do not influence killrates.
~ Killrates all are below 75% which leaves room for matches in which 1 person DCs and the killers gets a 3K.
What does this information mean to me:
~ Too much nuance, I will say this for the Nth time, the game is not killer sided, nor is it survivor sided, there is too much going on to pinpoint anything.
comparing killers' strength based on this statistic assumes that all of the killer players mastered the killer theyre playing. blight, for example, is definitely the second strongest killer in the game, but is one of the most difficult killers in the game to actually play extremely well. it makes total sense that wesker is at the top in this stat, because wesker is both pretty strong AND relatively easy to play well.
I knew prestiging Dredge all the way to 90 would pay off eventually. I KNEW my creature thing was S tier
How am I supposed to find a soloQ survivor every time I play as a killer I always find a team of 4 with the team name or something that match each other name It's quite hard to play even on dirt rank
I always felt that Demo was one of the worst. Unless you're using the spirit fury enduring build his chases feel like they take to long for some reason.
Wow Pig and Twins at 60%, guess they'll get nerfed next patch…
2:40 based, i use glowing concoction infantry belt every game with shadowborn and 3 aura
Maybe this is why I feel so powerful playing as Wesker and dredge
Freddy is up there because a good player can abuse the fuck out of is insane reach. He can mindgame loops so much easier then every other killer. Yes his power sucks, but his insane extra lunge is deadly. Finally though, I can point to this while doing my adept Bubba. "Oh he's so easy lmao" say the survivor mains, after they dropped 10 of the seemingly endless palettes and connected windows plus Dead Hard for 5 gens. Do you know how fucking hard it is as Bubba to left click a survivor 3 times? There's a reason I haven't seen a Bubba player since BT update, he was only ever good for facecamping
I feel like the reason nurse is so low is cus people dc the moment they hear her
I think Wesker is #1 because he is new and not only does everyone want to play him and get better with him, but also because he is new, not everyone knows how to deal with him yet. I am sure after a little while, Wesker's kill rate will drop once survivors get used to him.
and still I wanna see how high my mmr or my opponent's mmr is. Not an actual number more like a above the cap or something like that
Is it just me or should we not count add ons? Dont get me wrong, they're a part of the game a HUGE majority of players always run add ons. I do too. However, they just change so much on what a killer is capable of dealing with. A Sadako with iri tape and that healing addon is so much more effective in high MMR than basekit Sadako at high MMR. Not to mention, she completely ignore hooks and still get 2Ks. I also think pick rates are important cause I dont think there's THAT many Sadako players at high MMR compared to Nurse. Especially ones that are performing that well consistently. This doesnt really change my perspective on the game or playerbase. I just think there's a lot of holes in this for both sides to cherry pick on. Doesn't really tell us much. Is it really skill if most Wraiths just run NOED, tunnel, and run Iri add-ons? It doesnt count DCs, but how many players are just throwing the game? Etc. This is Top 5% so it's a reasonably good margine to assume that rookie mistakes dont happen often, and things like AFK or baby killers arent seen. But there's still things to take note of.
You aren't a good Bubba at all if you think windows shut him off… Anyway stats are meaningless in DBD, have always been.
secondary objectives and the inability to see the killer is one of the biggest reasons for those stats i feel, simply because soloQ exists
Part of what I think is that the weaker and less popular killers being much higher up then they 'should' be given you know Nurse and Blight exist, is that the people who really like those killers and actually stick with them at high mmr, are likely very very good with them. Where as a lot of people know hey, Nurse is OP as hell, I should play nurse and proceed to not do very well with em.
Dang I guess Sadako will never get that buff then.
Nurse has the highest DC rate which explains why she has the least kills.
Reminder: This is top 5% MMR. Not top 5% of players.
The top 5% of MMR contains like 40% of all players.
So, Wesker is getting nerfed..
There is also a thing with popularity/playerbase
Some niche killers played only by their mains would def have "inflated" killrate
i just played freddy to get his adept the other day and i got it first try with tier 1 perks
I'd put an astrix next to Nurse. A good one is pretty much guaranteed death.
Oink!? 🥳🐷 Huzzah guess I need to calm down with my op fire up piggy Plz don't nerf her again she's been through enough!🐽💕
trash data
the dredge is better then Nurse bro, just get on my level.
@Choy Dont forget its only Kills in the 5% not how many games with that killer. When 1 Sadako main is pro with that killer he will kill most player. Same with Plague. But Nurse and Blight have many more games so more likely more bad player.
