please no, I can't even imagine a shark carrying a survivor and putting them on the hook 😂
If this happens I want him to use a skateboard to move around.
there would be no "hand" to m1 with and that would look unsatisfying, also I am not seeing the shark as an horror icon and many others do not either. I belive this to be highly unlikely.
Nicolas Cage will be in dbd noting can surprise me at this point
Dwight: Is that a SHARK?!?!
Kate: Oh! Don’t worry, guy, we save. Sharks are not aggressive animals and rarely attack humans. Did you guys know that more people die to…
Kate: (Gets brutally shredded by Bruce)
Ace: He… I guess she BITES the dust, right guys.
Elodie: Ace, shut the f**k up, please.
I think the shark-human hybrid from Peter Benchley's "CREATURE" could work because it has arms and legs, and it's power can involve swimming in water and lunge at Survivors and dragging them under.
İ think sea creature killer instead of simple boring shark would fit better in dbd i imagine it would be soo cool to have a killer with a water connection every map it loads in makes the map flooded with water and the abilities you said in the video
his chase music would be iconic insane
even though theres ways to make him "fit" into dbd, as in, how his animations and stuff would work, he still doesnt FIT into dbd, yk? a shark is extremely out of place for their killers, they are all about horror and well… some random shark compared to all these monsterous looking killers would be almost laughable. i think instead they should do some sort of sea monster, maybe one of their own ideas or based off folktales. they could have some sort of under water based map, but maybe dried up with just some puddles around? the entity's realm could really twist up an under water map, like make the water floating or something. i just dont think as a killer jaws fits into dbd as a whole. id go with something a little more scary to fit the rest of their killers. if jaws came into dbd it would be just laughable
I feel like it would be weird seeing jaws in dbd the way you described I am not saying it couldn’t work but maybe they could make the maps underwater and maybe they could make it to where the survivors have to do something other than gens. I think the best way they could do jaws is to just have it to where if you choose to be “the jaws” then it will cause the maps chosen to turn to the flooded version of the map the only issue is you couldn’t do the licensed maps like haddonfield or badham preschool or Gideon meat plant. And instead of gens the survivors have to do some sort of underwater task that still requires you to have to repair something. Then you could have the survivors in diving suits possibly. As for the M1 it could be like a ram kind of like what bull sharks and other sharks sometimes do. Mori would be relatively simple the shark grabs the survivor by the legs the survivor tries punching at the shark in order to try and make it let go but the shark like in the movie just bites down harder the survivor coughs up some blood and then the shark eats them. Survivor could be the fisherman chief Brody and the marine biologist guy. I have seen many people say they wanted Jaws and I’m not opposed to it as long as it’s done right.
i did think of this consept befor but it works like huntress dredg or trikster to wherethe map gets floded do to the killer and the survivor swim around and when they dive thy have a 2minit breth timer
Ive always had a possible concept that would be a massive undertaking but would be awesome. Jaw's power can cause a certain section of an area to have water rise, and can go below the surface while survivors are slowed.
Man..that'd be cool as shit,Jaws Is Just scary for me cause the Deep Ocean Is Always One of my biggest fears,Imagine that while eating the iconic "du du du du du" getting louder and louder as the Shark gets closer in Chase, that'd be Nightmare fuel for me as I've had a Nightmare like that before.
But if There's a chapter i think Is 90% possible this time around are FNaF and Friday the 13th…
But my Dream chapter Will Always be a Jurassic Park chapter with Ellie and Alan as Survivors and the raptors from Jurassic Park 1 as the killers and the Abandoned Jurassic Park map, ofcourse nighttime and storming Rain Just like the movie.
The difficult part that I see is that killers are fundamentally designed to fit dbd's game mechanics within the space of a 6-7 foot tall vertical cylinder. I can see the shark being simply the head popping out from a whirlpool in the ground or it just being the fin with its actual model hidden until needed for animations, but clipping is ultimately going to be a massive issue without a whole lot of work into reworking pallets, stairs, hitboxes, collision detection, windows, and just maps in general since Behavior wouldn't be able to use their standard method of character design.
If they ever manage it though, it would open up a hell of a lot of new killer ideas, since quadrupedal creatures could be possible.
Put him on plastic legs
Just go crazier and make the maps underwater when the shark is playing. And every survivor has an oxigen tank and Link's heavy boots to walk and run underwater.
When it come to creature features, some of them work better than others. I’d say there are 3 tiers of how capable certain monster movie villains would fit in DbD, with those 3 tiers being:
Likely: This tier includes things like Pumpkinhead and the Xenomorph. These killers are quite possible for obvious reasons.
Unlikely: This tier includes things like the Graboid from Tremors and the Velociraptor from Jurassic Park. The reason these ones are more unlikely than others is mainly because of their different body structure, but could still be possible, especially if we used the final stage in the Graboid’s life cycle (the Ass Blaster) as the killer.
Very Unlikely: This tier includes things like the Blob and of course Jaws. These ones straight up seem impossible due to extremely different body structures or living in a very specific environment, with that being water for Jaws case.
Though I would love to see all the killers I mentioned, I sadly believe that some of them have a very low chance of ever coming to the game.
no
nah id shit myself getting chased by a big ass great white on land. imagine the shark nodding lmao
If they make Bruce the shark from jaws possible the three main guys from the movie should be playable if not than cosmetics for the one survivor I could definitely see making the captain my main survivor he'd probably have some funky fun perks besides that I'm surprised we don't have a playable deadite in dead by daylight that would be a very interesting game mechanic and also their ultimate would be able to possess survivors at random
I always talk to my friends about Bruce(the shark from Jaws)being in Dead by Daylight.
