  1. The free demo thing got me kinda annoyed tbh since it's tryna show an possibly trick people as if "hey guys we have your fav monster from the show you like, remember Netflix?" Only to be disappointed if they did get it which judging from this tournament is NOT happening. Althou most people here over reacted I do understand why being the frustrated gameplay, rules and money at stake.

  2. Ok, so this is what we are all thinking. This is a fucking joke that they decided to do competitive rules, when 90% of the streamers have never touched this game. Gives DBD a bad impression to the streamers and viewers that never played this game, and the player count is just going to be going lower and lower as each day goes on if DBD don’t fix this, I have watched Mizkif for like 3 years, and this is his reaction to most games he is bad at, (which is basically every game he plays) and his chat was just full of his normal chatters, but he felt like the hate was coming from the DBD community, which I don’t think would be the case, because most DBD players are way too wholesome. (That watch twitch), honestly hope this game doesn’t end up dying out, but in the direction it’s currently going in things are not looking very good, and this did not help at all, also this is the most shit I’ve ever heard shroud say to a game

  3. So, let me see if I understand this: they've put twenty non dbd players in a tournament with convoluted rules regarding what only a seasoned player could understand and the price was 350k dollar? Think I'll apply for behaviour marketing manager.

  4. DBD is a game you have to play like a solid week straight when you first start to understand what the hell is going on. Not to mention when its potato survivors vs potato killers, the killer will almost always win but the situation reverses when its good survivors vs good killer. Since all of them are new to the game, they would've not even been able to utilize the "broken" perks effectively so they really shouldn't have been banned in the first place just adds to the confusion

  5. I've never agreed with dbd tournament rules. If it's in the game it's a feature that is meant to be exploited and abused to the maximum. When I see a tournament that's what I want to see. Killers abusing super broken perks and add-ons and survivors popping 4 brand new parts or instaheals with turbo meta perks.

Now you may argue that's not healthy for the tournament scene but that's where you are wrong. If devs see how some of their mechanics can be abused at the top level of the game they can balance around it and both the competitive and noncompetitive dbd communities would enjoy some balance changes. That is assuming the devs actually care and pay attention to the game…

  6. Is it wrong for me to be unhappy with AT&T too for taking one look at this game and thinking 'Yeah, we should put this in our 350k dollar tourney alongside competitive games like SFV and CS:GO'? This takes me back to when I first played in I think 2018, where I was wandering around Chapel as Trapper asking myself 'Am I doing this right?' while trying to figure out how the game worked.

  7. Imagine recommending spirit to someone with 0 experience they really should have recommended Canibal wraith Myers trapper or even huntress with very simple powers to understand and effectively use

  8. I’m confused. If it’s a DBD tournament why are people that haven’t played in years in it? I’m used to things like Pokémon tournaments where everyone is experienced and advanced in playing. Isn’t that how a tournament usually is?

  9. I'm 3 minutes in and already brand new players really need a search bar they are going out of their way for higher fps and just seem totally confused right off the bat we need something that will help retain new players

  11. This just shows how Comp DbD just isn't a thing. Every comp tournament has a different set of rules. No other game in history with a rank or comp scene does stuff like this. Do they have picks and bans sure but nothing that fundamentally changes how the game its played. Also why in the world did they pick people who have never played the game before to play the game with comp rules. So wild

  12. A couple of "celebrities" having no fkin idea what they were doing, they didn't even train and all of a sudden jumped into comp??? No shit they gonna suck ass. I don't understand why everyone seems so surprised and take the words of those "celebrities" as holy scripture. They didn't give a shit about the game in the first place, it was all a quick cash grab for them.

  13. the tournament should have consisted of 1-2 good players on the survivor team to help the other survivors while the killer is new aswell it'd be also good to see people taking time to do the tutorial just so they have a decent understanding of the game
