Dead By Daylight may be closer than ever to giving players the ability to transfer their progress to and from platforms. On the Behaviour Account website they have now added the ability to link Xbox accounts?! This comes after adding the link button for Playstation two months ago. Is cross progress across all platforms finally going to be a reality?

Also what’s with the Twitch link? That’s new too! Is Dead By Daylight planning on using Twitch Drops to reward players for watching Dead By Daylight from Twitch streamers? Let’s discuss!

WARNING! To be safe I would suggest waiting before syncing because in the past people had loss of progress issues when syncing between Epic and Steam (ME, that happened to me). So I would wait until Dead By Daylight makes some sort of announcement that it is a feature that’s ready to go.

But in the meantime you can sign up for a Behaviour account so that you’re ready when the time comes. Or you can throw caution to the wind and hit sync and see what happens? Yeah, maybe don’t do that?

  2. I wonder if we ever do get full cross prgressiom how it would work… I have an old PS account and a newer PC account. My PC account has everything the past 2 years and my PS account has everything 3 years before I started my PC account.

    So would it comfortably combine all the cosmetics into one account or would one account items just take over and you loose the other accounts items?

  4. It better get switch cross progression cause I was gaslit into going to PC from switch cause It said I could move my progress. Its actually toxic thay they are doing drops before cross for switch. I want my damn bunny legion skin.

  5. I'm kind of annoyed that they're only now getting close to it considering I stop playing the game me a while ago however anytime I do return to it for even just a few games I'd like to be able to plan my PlayStation account from my laptop 🤓

  10. PLEASE. I really do just want to switch to PC. Better graphical control, frame rate, and even goofy stuff like name changes/custom icons would be amazing. Not to mention, it would also just be better when it comes to making content as I could easily record a video of DBD instead of hoping for a quick match to use the clip system or sacrificing a lot of quality by doing streaming on my console.

    Also, the twitch connection could be just for Prime drops. Other games you can just connect a twitch account to that game's website and it will just automatically put it on your account instead of having to type in the code manually.

  13. As a member of the DBD Switch community with over 2k hours, I have been wanting for cross progression and hoping it comes. The main reason I dedicated to switch is because of my rare items and all the progress I've put into the account and don't want to lose it or restart.

  15. Twitch drops is something im actually surprised dbd hasn't done yet, i mean some smaller game communities im apart of have done at least one twitch drop. And cross progression oh please oh please.

  18. I have been waiting to buy a PC until this happens. I would like many would hate to have to start all over again. I NEED keyboard and mouse!!! NEED!!! I am praying this happens… fingers crossed!!!

  19. I believe the Twitch could also "just" be that they are getting rid of the codes you get via Twitch Prime.
    Like with other prime loot you just connect your account and you claim and its done, while with DBD you have to use the code in the in-game store.

  20. I really hope this comes with an account merge feature too. Like how Fortnite (and presumably other games) have done it. It’d be so hard to choose between my Xbox account with my killer and survivor mains from stranger things or my ps account with more more characters and higher prestiges.
    (Can anyone confirm if this happened with steam and epic cross play? Id assume it’d be the same here)

  23. If twitch drops gonna be a thing 1 if that gonna be shit like 5 rift fragments and that's it or they will give us exclusive twitch drops skins that's happened in some games. 2 will every dbd streamer will able to give drops or just fogs

  24. I personally figured the Twitch link was tied to Prime Gaming. Given that DBD’s one of the few games that gives codes rather than being linked.

    Which, I hope doesn’t happen, because it’d actually be worse as you wouldn’t have random people on social media giving away their unwanted codes.

  26. Twitch Drops would be a nice Idea. I think a weekly Devstream would be cool where you can earn the Drops then, like Warframe does for example. And as Drops they should do stuff from old Rifts, the Charms, some older Outfits etc. That would also kill off the FOMO People complain about.
