Project Wesker is hard to summarize in a comment. But there are plenty of videos on YouTube that talk about it in 15-20mins. My recent video I cover the backstory of Wesker in the first 3 minutes, which would give you everything you need tbh.
They never indicated on stream that we'd get any anniversary items in webs and cakes??? So is that what's up?
Project W has two meanings, especially if you really examine what the teaser is showing us.
Project W's literal meaning is the Project W from the series, which was a eugenics project created by Spencer to create a race of superhuman beings, and 13 children were selected to become part of this project; 11 of them initially died, and only 2 survived the project, one of those being Albert Wesker.
Project W has another meaning if you closely examine the details at the end. The end of the teaser shows us a control room, and the name of the new chapter is "Project W". This might be a long shot, but this could be alluding to the Killer's power being related to Project Resistance, better known as "Resident Evil: Resistance", where you are The Mastermind and can summon enemies to do your bidding. This is actually quite in line with Albert, who is the "mastermind" of the events of the Resident Evil series early on, and has control over certain creatures.
So I think the new Resident Evil chapter is going to feature more than just Wesker as the enemy. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. X made an appearance, too.
I am so excited for another Resident Evil chapter! It's one of my favorite game series and I cannot wait to see what else is added!

Not interested in any of this stuff I always think a license chapter is the way to go for anniversary. Saw the new chapter in play that killer will be nerfed . Oh well maybe those funky pops will finally come out .
