Right off the bat I can immediately hate Champion of Light. It's just doing too much and paired with Background player it's just going to be too oppressive.
tbh he seems like a great character for new players. Easy way to learn how boons work and where gens spawn. Makes you clea totems which many players never do, even if there are hexes. You also get easier training with flashlight and you don't get penalised for skillchecks while also getting more of them. Pretty good beginer character.
They pop out survivors and killers so often it's not really exciting anymore. Just more things for them to fix on top of things they barely fixed or haven't fixed.
Champion of Light, more reasons to run Lightborn I see lol
These perks suck. I hate when they ruin a cool survivor with @$$ perks

I don't know much about DBD but am a huge Alan Wake fan so wanted to see what's up. Thank you for uploading so fast! I'm going to look into this game further and am excited to see more people play Alan, but probably won't play this myself because I feel I'd be awful at it, lol.

I can imagine a SWF all bringing Champion Of Light and then constantly grouping up to all blind the killer at once so that they can't even move basically

honestly i love the idea of more risk better reward perks honestly tho deadline isn't like a massive debuff but like I like the idea.
Resilience + deadline + hyperfocus is a total win. Add on fogwise or deja vu and you're a monster.
I can already see it coming Hope: champion of light: fixated: background player for the most cracked flashlight blinding walk speed
resilience + deadline is gunna be prevalent once people get used to it, calling it now. itll make gens fly even faster than they already do. its downside is way smaller to veteran players than the benefit of getting more great skill check chances
The new boon might actually be a really good perk for going against a NOED build. It makes getting rid of the hex way faster, as such less time spent in the map before trying to get out.

Boon Ilumination gonna actually be pretty strong now i can cleanse totems 30% faster at the start with counterforce plus the added 20% for each one, killers with Plaything and Pentimento are definitely gonna fear this combo having the boon and than cleansing 9 totems by the time i cleanse the 9th totem i should be cleansing at 230% speed lmao add on overzealous and Deja vu too totem cleansing/blessing and gen speed gonna be sped up.
I can't be the only one thinking this new boon is just deja vu with extra steps.
Deadline, resilience, stakeout, and hyperfocus….this could be crazy

Did anyone else watch Spooky’s stream last night? I could have sworn he made a statement to the effect that it WASNT going to be Alan Wake. I could be wrong, I could have heard wrong but when this was announced this morning I was cracking up.
Champion of light just says "When you blind the killer" does this mean it will work with blast mine?

Perks are Ass
The flashlight perk does concern me providing a speed boost holding the flashlights while in use with background player and a hinder effect does seem a bit overkill but we will wait and see
Do you think deadline & Prove thyself can be combined to help make the Generator progress repair faster???
