WOW* In case people come in here with pitchforks after Scott Jund’s video explaining his viewpoint on the JFlick, I want to make this clear: I don’t go around claiming that anyone has to learn JFlicking/Exploiting to be a good Blight, a majority of my Blight videos which YouTube algorithm doesn’t care about showing you guys has me playing without it. I don’t care if you use it or don’t use it. The video was for educational purposes and we know it’s unintended, but at the time we didn’t know if BHVR wanted to keep it or not. It is clarified now that BHVR DOES NOT want JFlicking to be a thing, and that is OKAY! JFlicking was never meant to replace having a solid foundation of Blight mechanics in the first place.

*EDIT* I SHOULD HAVE CLARIFIED THAT YOU CAN JFLICK WITHOUT SWITCHING DPI. It just requires more desk space and a bigger/faster swipe from your mouse! I should've clarified in the video, but when I said that people JFlicked as low as 1600 DPI, what I meant was that you can flick at any range of DPI, it just changes how fast/big your mouse flicks have to be!
For those who are curious – My normal DPI is 800, and 8000 when I JFlick. I use a button on the side of my mouse to switch between the two.

I've just gotten used to playing at 4000 dpi naturally lmao so I can jflick without having to switch my DPI, although I can still only do it maybe 75% of the time

Instead of changing DPI, will it work if you just change the sensitivity instead?

You don’t have to dpi toggle tho! I jflick on 800 (yes 800). Just need to clear off my desk first but i can do it and it is the most comfy for me 🙂

You don't even need high DPI for this. I play fully with 3200 and have a teeny tiny mouse pad and I can pull this off when I need to. Shame they're apparently gonna get rid of this though cuz it is a high skill thing to master and if you miss it or overshoot it its mega disorienting which is a good trade off for how useful it is. And survivors don't get to just hide behind a corner on a tl wall like they can against Oni…
would like to note that you probably shouldn't get to used too doing this as McLean has stated on stream that is unintended and will be fixed in the future

I have a cheap Usb Mouse and i dont know anything about DPI stuff, do i need like a Logitech Mouse for this or are there any Apps that lets me toggle my DPI? Also is this fixed or getting fixed in the newest or future Patches? Im looking into playing more Blight with the 4.60 Update and im just wondering.

… I have just now noticed that I went p3 level 50 with blight on console+controller without even using a tech that can be useful on him (Because controllers don’t work like that)
And with cross progression between Console and Pc being a hopeless dream, I guess I need to switch mains… it’s been a fun, bumpy, fast ride with the blight!

Potentially dumb question but: how do you go about changing your dpi mid chase? Do you set a macro and change it right before you lunge?
How do you swap dpi's?
I dont actually intend on using it unless its some rough game cause normal blick flicks do me just fine most of the time. But when changin sense cxan you just change the X sens and still do it or do both sense need to be upped
