  1. This is such a League of Legends problem I swear

people go through 10 minutes queues and champ selection just to give up after 10 minutes of playing.
I wouldn't even give a shit about winning or losing just let me press some more buttons before I have to queue again, but nope. They really give up that fast.

  2. what happens when you buff killers to a boring level of power… No one wants to play agonist them anymore, since they know 99% of the time you will be tunneled and die anyways. Killers are way too strong now, and all my friends throw matches non stop for years now. To ruin everyone games and get killers nerfed.

  3. Sometimes you just don't wanna go against a certain killer, or you quickly realize a certain perk/playstyle means they already won. You can literally play any killer you want Scott there's no rule who cares. Slug tunnel camp it doesn't matter.

  4. I think a lot of people give up recently is due to stronger early gen pressure perks. If a killer gets two or three grim embrace, pain res, DMS early on in the match survs loose faith and just want to go next- even though it’s still a winnable game. I’ve had multiple games come back from this scenario because that’s two or three killers perks gone early on.

Another thing I think that’s happening is MMR has always felt to wide of a range, but recently it’s felt really out there. I’ve gone against people and had people on my team recently that feel completely out of place like they’re playing a different version of the game because of the experience disparity between players

  5. I think (soloQ) survivors (me includced) are dead sick of getting tunneled, camped, and facing 4 slowdowns. The other day a soloQ teammate of mine got hardcore tunneled out by the killer. I tried whatever I could to help them, but I couldn't save them. I immediately lost the will to play that match and went to the killer to hook me.

And when this keeps happening, and carries over many matches over days, weeks, months, then the slightest inconvenience makes you not wanna play the game. It's not players overreacting over an isolated single event of facing a Wraith. The whole picture needs to be looked at.

  6. Hey new player here(150 hours survivor/killer), I think I know where the problems is for new survivors at least. The problem is that most of survivors dont want to play with some killers because they had bad experience or dont know how to counter them. For me and my friends whenever we see a clown killer we immediately group up and let him kill us because we find him boring and obnoxious to play against. We want to have fun against killers we like and know how to play against, not to learn this game like full time job. Same as wraith(and other stealth killers) some people want to be on gen not woriing if someone is around them and can kill them in one hit or body block them and give them a free hit. I think there is a solution but it will lead to more problems on the killer side. The solution is give the survivor to pick which killers to play against. DBD isnt a horror game it is a competitive game, and like in other competitive games, I feel like there should be a pick/ban system (like Rainbow Six Siege…).

Pros: -survivor will DC less because they will have control of which killer they play against and if they want to learn how to play against another killer they can queue up with only him to practice

Cons: -some killers will have such a small survivor player pool that it will take ages to queue
-if they finally manage to queue they will probably queue with a survivor squad that have many hours and know how to counter his killer very well so every game they will need to try hard

I love to hear thoughts on this. Have a nice day.

  7. I think the combination of map changes and a decent roster of killers that end chases quickly is finally catching up to people. There are less loops, said loops are very unsafe now and sometimes killer lunge distance. God windows are decreasing more and more. Meanwhile killers have way better early game, smaller maps and lots of QOL buffs. Also imo the biggest and most powerful change for killer basekit was the faster attack cool down mixed with smaller speed boost on hit for survivor, stack with garbage loops and windows taking most of the space on the map it can tbh feel quite hopeless. I often see other survivor teammates only last 10-15 seconds after getting hit once, and if for some reason they did not go down quick it's likely cause they dropped most of the pallets on the map to survive longer lololol.

  8. Maybe people should start considering the game is beyond unbearably killer sided so there's no point in even playing certain matches? Because it's not killers the ones going afk, it's the survivor role. And it's not something that happened before.

  9. See I'll give up as survivor for the most part when I get hooked and I get to second stage and no one makes the attempt to get me even when I'm not being camped OR when I get a bad team where I'm doing most of the gens alone and or if my team all goes down in the same area for God knows what reason.

  10. In the current state of the game, the killers and the perks have just grown to be annoying and boring. I play both roles and typically play survivor more now a days because killer feels easier and boring. I never quit unless the game is going super bad fast. I don't find myself having fun anymore…the game used to be scary, now it's just sweaty. The fun is gone and I believe this is why.

  11. just my opinion but I think people do that when they realize it's a "yet another Wraif" or "yet another Hunter" or "yet another Trappa" (Whiskers, Nurf, Myers) … either going afk or trying to die to move on to next match either because they tired of the most common killas or it's a killa that usually slaughters them so they don't bother trying. not gonna lie, if I hear the Doctah's laugh, Wraif's bell, Hunter's song or realize it's Wesker (Whiskers); I'll try to help the team but aim to die first… smoke a cig and return to play hours of DBD with no BS killas (by playing Killa) but I had a match a few months ago where all 4 DC'd upon one person getting hooked one time by Sadako. (over the course of a few minutes) and recently the same thing happened with Chucky, I hooked the first guy, he DC's. I hook the 2nd guy and he DC's. The other two were apparently not together as they each basically hid and were literally and figuratively playing a game of chicken, waiting for the other to DC… there was also a time when people DC'd before getting hooked and I had a match against 4 bots… wtf. yea. rly.

  12. You point out multiple times that they DC at the start of the match, before you do anything. So how would they know what you're running? Your build doesn't matter. They assume it's what they last versed, which was an obnoxious miserable build that the same killer used.

  13. Today, for the first six games, I was either going against people who threw the match, people who just stood still or teabagged or pointed at me trying to be "friendly", and then when I hooked them like you're supposed to do as killer, they gave up, or people who used stuff like head on and flashbang that are infamous for being disliked by killers. Granted, the head on users didn't give up on hook so I can give props to that. But all in all it made me want to stop playing because none of my matches were fun. WHY DBD COMMUNITY WHYYY.

  14. The worst ones are the survivors who purposely make the game miserable for others. Specifically the ones who sell their teammates out to the killer when they realize they are not winning

  15. When a killer camps a person till they die, or just hard focuses one of them till they leave, of course players are going to protest
this is primarily a killer issue. If you fuck with your food for too long, they stop trying to resist.

  16. i can tell you why, its mainly cuz the game isn't fun, on top of that, alot of toxic behavior, especially from the survival side, where they bait you into a chase and they get you stuck in a impossible to hit them loop, i quit before cuz of this types of stunts, with toxic behaviors, the body blocking also makes me want to quit, i deleted this game before cuz of it, and now im wanting to delete it again cuz the same crap still happening, people that quit is the type of people that has there gaming experience ruined over and over again, to the point that no 1 wants to play, and just dc out of all matches so the killers/survivals don't have the pleasures to bully people with toxic stunts, 1 thing i noticed, when it comes to toxic players, its really not a even playing field at all

  17. Also, whats exactly the incentive for people to stay? What focus does BHVR have to make that a priority? What have they said they are going to do about this or are they even aware it is an issue or do they make another excuse to obfuscate the issue untill next patch.

  18. Had a match recently where i dc'd against a ghosty. It was on azarovs and we had a braindead teammate doing all of the gens on one side of the map, a recipe for a loss and just decided i didn't want to suffer it

  19. saying it's unplayable for killers because some survivor dc's or give up in any way is hilarious lol, the fact survivors kill themselves on hook literally SAVES the game for killers and it's a 100% win. Why are killers complaining about this? be happy, you'll have free points and free win.
