  1. Ideas to buff the worst perks

Septic Touch – (rework) when you injure a survivor, they become afflicted with this perks effects for 60 seconds:
    – they cough loudly at all times.
    – they become Exhausted and Blinded for the duration.
    – their self healing speed is reduced by 50%/60%/70%.
    – If another survivor begins to heal them, they are also afflicted with this perks effects.
(A fun little slowdown effect that brings a bit of Plagues gameplay to everyone else.)

Overwhelming Presence – in addition, reveal the aura of all survivors currently using an item.
Survivors that stop using their item while affected by this perk will drop it and lose 10% of its charges.
(Seems annoying but hey, lore accurate.)

Distressing – (rework) your terror radius becomes 6/8/10 metres bigger. Survivors in your terror radius become nervous, causing skillchecks to shake on screen, ominous sounds for the survivors, and may randomly hear a close terror radius.
(Seems fun and its effects are basekit on doctor anyway so its not OP on him)

Horder – (rework) Spawn an additional empty chest in the basement. See the aura of all items, when you hook a survivor, their item drops to the ground. While standing on top of an item or chest, you may send it to the basement chest (maybe replenishing its charges to entice them?). All survivors see the aura of the chest if theres an item in it, and must rummage through the chest to pick up their item again.
When a survivor is interacting with a chest, you receive a loud noise notification and see their aura in yellow.
(Fitting for its name, but most survivors will just forget about even trying to get them back)

Call of Brine – after kicking a generator, it becomes highlighted in yellow. It will regress at a 160%/180%/200% rate so long while no one is repairing it. This effect lasts until you kick another generator.
If survivors on the affected generator hits a good skillcheck, receive a loud noise notification.
(Just a numbers boost and no duration timer)

Unbound – After injuring a survivor by any means, Unbound activates for 24/27/30 seconds.
Vault windows 10% faster. And apply this effect:
    – gain 5% haste for 15 seconds after vaulting a window.
    – gain 15% haste for 5 seconds if you vault a window again within 3 seconds.
    These effects do not stack.
(Literally no clue what I did here lol)

Hangmans Trick – in addition, if a survivor sabotages a scourge hook, they scream and are inflicted with deepwound and 20% hindered for 5 seconds.
(Still not strong, but once it activates, it will be game changing)

Shadowborn – (rework) All survivors are highlighted in white when in your line of sight, becoming highly visable (especially in bushes lol).
While out of line of sight of all survivors for 30/25/20 seconds, your aura cannot be read.

Undone – in addition, start with 6 tokens. A generator that has been blocked by this perk will have skillchecks occur 20% more often, and 20% faster, and appear on random parts of the screen. This applies for 1 generator at a time.
(No longer requires a full build on doctor, it brings the doctor to everyone else)

Beast of Prey – while a survivor is in your line of sight within 16m, become undetectable, this lingers for 2/3/4 seconds.
If you gain bloodlust, this perk deactivates until the chase ends, revealing the aura of the closest injured survivor not currently in chase. The bloodlust lingers for 8 seconds after the chase ends.
(To promote the whole preying on the weak idea)

Insidious – (rework) For each second spent standing still, gain a token. Apply effects based on the number of tokens (max 5):
    1. Become undetectable.
    2. Lose all breathing sounds.
    3. Gain 10% haste.
    4. See the aura of survivors within 8/10/12 metres.
    5. Your basic attacks inflict deafened and 20% hindered for 3 seconds.
You lose tokens for every second spent moving.
This perk deactivates within 24m of a hook.
(This makes it so if you stand still for 5 seconds, you can pull off sneak attacks against people around corners to guarentee a down. Its like a pocket sized scratch mirror for everyone else. Plus it means you can use its other effects mid chase to an extent, e.g. stand still in a loop like shack for 4 seconds, see their aura, get a second of haste, stay undetectable till all 4 seconds are up. If you dont get the hit, just stay still again and keep the few tokens saved to try again)

Shattered Hope – (rework) you can break totems, when you break a totem it creates a rekindled totem in its place with an effect based on its type:
Boon – all survivors within 24m have their aura revealed.
Dull – all survivors within 24m suffer blindness.
Hex – all survivors within 24m become exposed.
This rekindled totem breaks after 60 seconds and cannot be rekindled.
(Still not great. But at least it has a usage now)

  2. Zanshin used to show breakable walls but that was removed in this most recent change to it with the new edition. It’s quite silly since survivors can’t really do anything with breakable walls

  3. The fact that Eruption triggers the gen kick limit after just 4 uses stops it from being top tier IMO. If you have a weak mobility Killer and a wide 3/4 gen spread, you can easily hit the kick limit with Eruption. And having to take the kick limit into account can reduce your use of other gen-kicking perks like Nowhere To Hide or Dragon's Grip. So, because of that I'd say Eruption is 4 stars/Very Good at best.

  4. There is an error with spirit fury. You gain the perk by breaking 2 pallets, not by getting stunned twice, which means the perk will always activate once in your games as survivors can't know you have it until it's too late

  5. discordance is also very good on the knight. you can send a guard to the gen and the guard chases one of them. and i will chase the other survivor. The perks i always use (on basically anyone)
    Nowhere to hide
    Discordance
    Friends till the end
    Lethul pursuer

  6. i wonder if buffing blind so it hides the survivor stuff on the hud from other survivors would be a good buff, rn blind is very meh, but imagine if it also hides you seeing allied health states, actions etc, from your hud while blind.
then i remember survivor comms :/

  7. PWYF pairs well with Friends till the End.

FTTE will guarantee that you can get PWYF stacks, because it switches the obsession for you.

FTTE also pairs well with Wretched Fate for the same reason.

  8. Thank you for the Perk videos, Otz. They're always quite helpful and it's nice to hear the insightful commentary on them. My favorite Perk combos currently are something like Agitation and Forced Penance, since when you are carrying a Survivor every hit that you do is a protection hit on Survivors it usually means that Survivors that try to deny hook or are close enough for me to go after while "backpacking" someone will get broken. Add to it something like Thanatophobia or Terminus and it can actually be quite powerful. Goes quite well on Weskter too since he can combo Bounds on Survivors. And then for something simple Fire Up and Brutal Strength is pretty nice. Yeah not the best but at least it's fast as hell, can even surprise some Survivors sometimes.
