  1. I mean, I understand that the survivors objective in general is shorter than that of the killer, but it's not as simple as looking at gen times and looking at the average chase time plus hooking a survivor. Killers can apply pressure, spread damage to keep survivors off of gens, at least a bit, and most importantly, create a secondary objective for survivors by hooking survivors.
That's perhaps one of the bigger challenges to balancing the game, the fact that the better the killer does, by getting more frequent downs and hooks, the more objective time the survivors gets as well. Which means there's not that much seperating a tough loss from a good win as killer. Also why killer can feel pretty punishing, especially at the start of a match, a few mistakes or outplays can have a really big impact on the match, and it feels wrong to lose because of a few mistakes or getting outplayed a few times. The reason why I feel like the game isn't as survivor sided as some people think it is.

  2. Ya know, with all the boon totem talk at the beginning… I was thinking. Wouldn't "Hex: Thrill of the Hunt" be a pretty good counter to blessed totems? New meta against it may end up being Ruin and TotH.

  3. I really like playing clown. My idea for improving him is a unicycle. He can use it like a main event power that he can save up to travel fast across map. (The invigorating does very little). He can’t hit while using it it’s literally just so he can get across the map quicker. Gives him better map pressure which he sorely needs plus it just be funny.

  4. There's Ghostface killers who outplay almost every other Killer. Literally go to King Ping channel. Hell, even my own channel (for personal playback). (Example: King Ping did 2x better against Oracle than Tru3 did as a Wraith).

I am like 16 wins in 18 games with GF since MMR started (counting key escapes before gens finish as ties, not losses), and I am not even a great Killer. I simply mastered GF to some degree, and learned to use the Stalks more often/smarter.

Just because it might be only 5% of the GF players who play very well at top MMR doesn't negate the fact that GF is actually good in an actual top MMR environment (in the right hands). There's tons of other Killers who can't compete at that level, no matter whose hands it's in (they literally have zero Stealth and Exposed chases to stop an endless cycle of long chases, body blocks, and gen rushing). That's why saying GF as worst Killer in game is just a little bit too much.

  5. Clown needs a buff for his yellow bottles.
    1. He should have 4 purple bottles and 4 yellow bottles
    2. The speed boost should be 15% and not 10% cuz he needs some map control
    3. The yellow gas should show after 2 seconds and not 2.5

  6. The argument against boon totems that the killer has to waste a few seconds to destroy them is ridiculous. The survivor is literally spending a perk slot to have that. Like, is it not supposed to be useful? I don't understand

  7. only way to fix clown is giving him 8 bottles or 4 of each effect and making him drink it instead of throwing it. But hey, I don't think they ever thought that the yellow bottle is useless on tight maps

  8. 7:41 It's not a bad build… by pre-MMR standards. Nowadays if you don't go Pinky Finger you're gonna have a bad time 8 times out of 10. I used to like running STBFL but I don't bother anymore. Lethality is what's matter the most against all these experienced swfs.
