  1. New Haddonfield is awful. I was afraid survivors would be holding W on it to the full extent and that's exactly what happens. Even if you're anti-loop killer you'll spend most of the chase slowly closing distance between and around buildings. And the worst part is windows, all the crazy safe windows that have no counterplay other than Nurse. Houses should have fewer safe windows and more straight up holes, otherwise it will never be good for M1 killers.

  2. I have been saying since new haddonfields release that it is objectively worse than old haddonfield. BHVR just simply cannot balance houses, and trying to balance the rest of the map, they made the houses on this map significantly worse. (Also just see the balancing of house on the new map, if you need more proof that they dont know what theyre doing with houses)

  3. Haddonfield still has the far spread hooks issue and almost all the vaults are impossible to mindgame the pallets are okay but the vaults are so good for the survivors

  4. 4:55 I totally agree with you tofu. I liked old haddonfield a lot more, the only thing I didnt like was the giant fences. It just seems like the rework got rid of the large fences but then ruined everything else. The buildings especially feel worse to deal with too

  5. Funny thing is if you told me new haddonfield was gonna be worst than old haddonfield like a year ago i would have call you crazy. But nah new haddonfield is worst than the old one for me too, and its sad that i have to say that.

  6. I'd probably recommend Midwich for Adept Doctor. You are almost guaranteed to get Static Blast value, and Doc shuts down those super-annoying side-room vaults with his shock.

Both new Haddonfield and Garden of Joy have ridiculous god loops in the main buildings, and they're even worse with Balanced Landing. As killer, I just have to abandon chases in either building and hope the survivors don't save that generator as the last in a 3-gen, and as a solo queue survivor I feel horrible for abusing them, even if my team aren't doing gens and setting up boons when no one is injured.

  7. I personally also don’t like the new haddonfield, at least as killer. It looks a lot better sure, but now instead of one house having a god window, like every house has like two window vaults that a survivor can spam and there is almost no counter play to unless the survivors just aren’t looking behind them at all.

  8. Eventually, Tofu's gonna get to something like Megoonarinoonimacaronipony and then what happens? Will the Megs of the world invert and become the negative coloration of what they are now? Will there be some other nefarious and desperate dark plan hatched? Will there be pie, and if so what kind?

  9. No shade to Tofu but I kinda just shrug when people complain about "Hold W" gamers because since like 90% of the killers they've released since Spirit have been specifically designed to counter looping and mind games running straight has now become pretty much the only viable tactic for prolonging chases. It's gotten to the point where I get hyped AF for a billy or a letherface because at least then I get to greed pallets and whatnot without it just being guaranteed death.

  10. I do miss the old Haddonfield and think it should be brought back as Haddonfield 1 and the new one becomes Haddonfield 2. Also, I don't care if you're iridescent ranks or ash ranks, the achievement still counts whenever you do it.

edit* that 2nd match, fun addons and thanks, also, jeez they had 3 borrowed times, 3 spine chills, 4 dead hards and 3 mighty med kits, what is the challenge in that? 😀

  11. Doctor main here. IMO, King is not a top-tier add-on. I'd go Calm or Discipline if you're trying to win. The secondary effects of the add-ons are far more powerful than the afflictions. This is especially true at higher MMRs, where survivors are less likely to get confused.
