  1. Been interested in Dead By Daylight for a while and just haven't got it because I was unsure whether I'd like it or not, but I'm a big fan of every Alan Wake game (including American Nightmare XD), so the inclusion pushed me over the edge to buy and play the game.

  2. Hehe. Havent had a chance to read through Alan’s tome yet, but ‘Michelle’ struggling to read without her glasses makes me laugh, because 90% of Mikaela’s cosmetics remove her glasses 😅 great video as always, I always look forwards to these roundups on lore because I usually have zero clue what’s going on with them, and you’re great at explaining and analyzing them in a way that makes sense!

  3. Bro, we got Alan, the universe has already been contacted I NEED A CONTROL CHAPTER. The atmosphere of The Oldest House in dbd is something I absolutely need. Plus with how intertwined the two games are post DLC its only fitting that Director Jesse Faden (and the Hiss) comes in too.

  4. A great video from you! If I may, there's just oooooone thing I'd like to clear up lorewise:

19:37 ~ You mention Mr. Scratch as Alan's "sadistic and evil alter ego", and that's not entirely correct (even as the Dark Half influences are there). During American Nightmare, Alan describes Mr. Scratch as a manifestation of all the awful, bad-faith rumors and stories around him, including a penchant for murder. Without going too much into the story and its associated spoilers, Scratch is…_quite different_ in AW2. Still malevolent, still a blight on Alan's existence. But 13 years under a Lake does weird things to people.
