  1. I honestly would argue that game afoot is a much much much worse perk because it’s a mediocre effect that only ever really affects 1 survivor and only after they’ve done an action to make distance

  2. alien instinct has 1 good use and 1 meme use:

the good use is that if you are snowballing (2 survivors hooked,1 injured and 1 healthy ) it can let you turn this into a (3 hooked and 1 healthy) situation very easily (and when 3 survivors are on hook you have basically won 95% of the time) assuming the injured survivor is close to the 2 hooked ones (which is what he is normally supposed to do because if he is not close and the healthy guy fumbles it, it is gg).

the meme use is that in early to mid game the survivor won't know if you are coming for him so he will prep and hide as you say but you will ignore him 1/2 times and then once he gets complacent you do a moonwalk into a grab or an attack (it works like 10-20% of the time but it is le funni)

  3. 🤣 Yeah alien instinct isn't a crutch perk. It's a snowball perk. It's not meta either.
However worst perk in dbd no way. Beast of Prey exists in the game. Want to talk about useless and no value.

  4. The worst perk is the perk from Alan Wake that makes skill checks 10 percent more present and make them appear in random locations, but lowers the punishment from missing them by 50 percent. Like, DUDE. Most of the time, everybody is hitting skill checks. And if they miss, they're not worried about the progression loss. They're worried about being notified to the killer. This perk literally just makes it harder to hit skill checks.

  5. I've paired this perk with Forced Penance and had some success on high mobility M1 killers. It's really a neat little combo so long as you can get there before their Oblivious runs out.

  6. idk what this guy is talking about with genetic limits, visionary, thrill of the hunt, hangman's trick, and septic touch existing. also legitimate question what is the use of potential energy cuz based on the desc of it, it just turns 15% gen progress into 10% so idk why anyone uses that j seems like its actively nerfing yourself. also also bbq and chili is a crazy good perk but on maps like game or other small maps its honestly useless and with killers like plague or legion alien instinct can be really helpful for that, and fast moving killers who can reach the survivor while they are oblivious could chain hooks like crazy. I will admit the big alien instinct alert is pretty dumb but he also be talking like u get guaranteed value from bbq when 40m is a pretty big range. its definitely not a good perk but there are definitely worse is the not exhausting methods infinitely better then septic touch, like most exhaust add ons, languid touch, or blood echo. visionary shows gens which is pretty good especially for beginners but why not use the much better and free deja vu? Why not use literally anything other then hangman's trick? Why not use undying instead of thrill of the hunt which instantly makes totem get cleansed 100% slower rather then 50%? Why use predator when you can use not predator the perk that makes it easier to see scratches cuz they appear on walls and thus are more visible?

  7. It's not the furthest survivor, it's the furthest injured survivor, which also means it the only injured survivor is the closest, that's the aura you'll see. It does happen quite a bit that this scenario occurs. Now, does this make this a good perk?. No. But that would do something no other perk does, as it doesn't have BBQ's stipulation and you don't need to wait for the unhook for floods effect.

  8. Alien Instinct does have 1 nasty niche… countering trades…

If you are someone who can come back to hook quickly like Blight, Nurse, Wesker or Spirit, you can camp the hook and force a trade, then down and hook the survivor who trades, yhe use AI to still find the survivor who was just unhooked to tunnel them…

It's a pretty lame playstyle that I wouldn't recommend, but it does make camping and tunneling more viable…

  9. This perk is not good on every killer
This perk is good for double tunnel with high mobility u can caught a lot of survivors while healing or doing gens (means any anti tunnel will deactive) this will give u a lot of prussre if 2 survivor in danger and I think a lot of time will be faster u dont have to deal with DS or OTR

  10. If you have multiple injured and alien instinct procs, and if the survivor you see is really close, then you know not to really leave the area because the other survivors injured are lurking nearby as well.

  11. I like to combine alien instinct and friends till the end, on the dredge. That way, I will see two auras, and either way, im guaranteed to get a down by just teleporting directly to them. I dont even give them time to react to it. 0w0

  12. Invalid Opinion. Error, Error. Alien Instinct is a good perk for Dredge, Unknown, Wraith, Demogorgon, Sadako, and Xenomorph. You are claiming that this is the worst perk when there are so many others. This perk is used for many many builds. You are making it seem like oblivious isn't good when it is really good for many of the killers mentioned.
