I wanted to do a video like this for a long time now! I always wondered where did Michael's gown, as well as The Pig's cosmetics originated from, so I decided to showcase all the licensed survivors and killers we have and see their origins!
I intentionally skipped most legendary survivors, since they are their own characters in my personal opinion, so unless that character has a more popular look like Chris or Jonathan, they are not mentioned. I would also like to apologize for saying "Inspired by" various times, when the cosmetic is literally the exact same from the source, so it's not inspired at all 😅

Leon's Detective Noir outfit is a reference to first The Evil Within. Look up a character of Joseph Oda. The outfit is nearly identical.
THANK YOU! SOMEONE ELSE THINKS ROBIN AND EDDIE WOULD BE BETTER AS SKINS AND HOPPER AND JOYCE AS THEIR OWN SURVIVORS. Hopper and Joyce have so many more cosmetic options. It would be such a missed opportunity not to include them
Great video, personally my wishlist for character skins would be Cheryl Mason getting her look from Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Rebecca's basketball outfit (unlinked so you could use her iconic red headband with other outfits), Team Wesker Rebecca, default Ashley as an alt for Leon (but also if they release Casual Ashley as an outfit BHVR will make infinite money), Leon's villain outfit from RE4make OR his edgy attire from re6, RE5 Jill, and now that I am aware that there can be a shirtless Quentin Smith cosmetic that too. And a holiday sweater for Quentin too since the man deserves something after all this time.
Not to mention when in terms of the Rebecca stuff she could have she also has a bunch of cosmetics in her movie and live stage play cosmetics that people don't seem to really care about. Like I want to stress she's extremely underated being canonically as smart as wesker. She's been bit a virologist a doctor a college professor. Its sad how Rebecca gets completely shafted in any cosmetic department

I am still on the hope train that with the new ownership of the Halloween franchise, as well as BHVR mentioning they’ll be looking at Meyers in the future, that we can get more cosmetics for the duo! Heck I’d settle for Laurie getting a sweater or something small from an event! Seeing the different masks and outfits for Meyers, or giving Laurie some of her older outfits from her more recent saga would be amazing!

Those real life fake blood pump masks suck. They leak after 10 minutes and you only find out when it's soaked through your outfit. Just use real blood.
Oh yeah the tapp I know it's because Eric Matthews was going to be a survivor but was replaced with tapp so I hope we can have him as a legendary skin

Funworld has made Ghostface's anniversary skin as a real costume but it's not actually for sale. I don't know if they made it just as a concept (they've done that before with the red/blue ghostface recolors) or if they are actually going to sell it. If they do sell it I will 100% buy it.

but the entire outfit itself and the way its styled is inspired from the outfit she wears in saw 3 when she tries killing detective matthews
the red shirt, jacket, pants, and even the way the pants is stylized with the boots is all the same as her outfit then
I think BHVR might have licensing rights to TCM2 because the quote and idea of the award winning chili are from that movie. Also the quotes are accredited to the full names of the characters something not revealed in the original movie. If my limited knowledge of copyright law is correct then they wouldn't be able to use even the most minor details of later iterations of the character, like how anyone wanting to use Mickey Mouse has to stick to the design of his Steamboat WIllie Iteration

Detective Tapp's default is the uniform Eric Matthews wears in Saw 2, because he was originally going to be Matthews before it was changed to Tapp and I guess they liked the way the uniform looked on him or something idk.
At this point I have so many cosmetics hoarded that I've sworn off buying cosmetics besides premium rifts; that being said, I would buy Robin and/or Eddie skins in a heartbeat.
I hope they would add steve Harrington video store outfit from season 4 that would be a cool one.
