About Me!

My name is Dyllon! I have played Dead By Daylight for about 1.5 years now strictly on my Twitch page. After being asked time and time again about how to get into the game, I decided to try my hand at making guides to help players.

  1. I’m pretty sure your community is with you know matter what type of videos you make. Expanding your own future isn’t up to any body else. You lose some people but you’ll gain more. Cheers

  2. I dont really get what you wanted to say with this video? Do you just want to announce you are "Quiting" tutorials (yes I know not entirely). Or are you sad because you want us to get you as many views on the low effort stream matches as on the edited "tutorials". If you want more views get REALLY interesting matches (and those are not very common) if that is what you want to do just dont expect as many views if you keep the current quality.

  3. I, like many other people, found your content through your tutorial vids. However, I have stuck around for all your YT content because of your mindset and personality. I would happily watch just about any type of video you make, especially if you start doing collabs with other content creators, which could also help you branch out your audience and get you out of that box. I hate to hear that you've been getting so burnt out, and I absolutely respect your decision to do what is best for you. I will be supporting you however I can in the future dude, much love homie

  4. Thank you for sharing this. 100% get the burnout and the frustration and the feeling of being “in a box”. Diversifying content is exhilarating and exciting and also incredibly frustrating. Grind culture needs to go away. Take care of you my friend.

  5. i know i can't speak for everyone but i as a viewer love your content because of you, your personality just brings a lot of life to your content so I'll definitely be staying around. it's sad to see your tutorials going but i completely understand where you're coming from. I'll see you in the fog.

  6. Good for you… Take your time and invest in your future. Just do what you want to do and don't burn yourself out. That's just not the way to go. As a person with anxiety and depression, I always suggest putting your mental health first! So I fully support you on your way in the best way I can. I know that I don't usually comment much, but – even though other people already said it in the comments – I felt like I need to say it too. Sadly, I can't watch any and all of your videos or watch all of your streams, simply because I started working full-time and the time difference is a bit big, but I'll definitely take my time and try to look out for your newer videos.
I really hope it'll go all well for you and I wish you a good evening/day.
    Greetings!

  9. As a small youtuber (less than 3k)i understand that burn out. You do what you know will get the views, the comments and be noticed but those videos are draining and usually repetitive ad nasuem. You have to make what is fun for you and if you don't you'll become miserable on this platform. No matter what content you make I'll be a loyal subscriber and support you videos man! You're awesome and I'm sure others feel the same!

  10. I'm just glad that you're prioritizing your mental health and overall well-being. I can't imagine a scenario where I wouldn't "tune in" for whatever you're doing, so you're stuck with me and my ridiculous puns 🤘

  11. We understand. I found you because of your killer guide video, but I stayed because of you and the community you built. No matter what you stream, or video you create, I'm here. Even if you focused on game journalism and reviews, I and many others will support you and back you up! We believe in you and your future, but I know the road can be daunting, but I'm confident that you'll find yourself in a great position through the highs and lows.

  12. I'm glad you're taking this step for yourself. I'm following you and your content rather than a specific type of your content. I find your approach positive and honest, I look forward to whatever you do.

  13. Maybe some discussion videos? I love your content and really like watching you here and on stream but gameplays are kinda not my thing. I still want to support you and really hope your new schedule is better for your mental health XD

  14. I’m happy for your shift! I realize that tutorials get the clicks and views but speaking for myself I’ve always enjoyed the game plays, memes and stream highlights type content way more! Some of my favorite content creators have done the opposite and started only doing the tutorials and seo type content and I miss seeing the personality and passion. It’s a tough catch 22 but I’m excited to see what you decide to do going forward!!

  15. I only recently discovered your content, and have really enjoyed your stuff. I’d definitely agree, if you’re feeling burnt out or want to pursue other things, DO IT.

I’d also say if you want a quicker and easier “tutorial niche”, do more of your gameplay critique videos. They give great tips in a positive way and I imagine they don’t require as much time and effort as a straight-up tutorial video. For me, your gameplay critique videos are well done and provide content I haven’t seen done as well anywhere else. (If those gameplay videos are taking too much time as well, then I’d say do more of it off the cuff: do one preview with notes, then go straight into recording your reactions.)

I wish you success in your efforts. You keep doing you and I know it will work out.

  16. Dude, I’m not a subscriber, but I have seen your tutorials and have gained some insight from them. But what left is there to teach that experience won’t teach better? The approach you have lined out sounds perfectly normal and I wouldn’t worry about having to take time off of a certain type of content due to burnout. At the end of the day, you’re under no obligation to feel tied down. Broadcast yourself dude. But also pursue your passions.

  17. I would like to see weird perk synergies and builds. Personally for me, I don't really like watching "Best builds" stuff because I sort of expect it to be the same builds. I love trying fun non meta builds that's fun for me as a survivor to try to pull off, or as a killer to make really weird builds synergize. If you get a build going that I never thought of, that inspires me to try it as well, and maybe other people.

  18. I started watching you because I needed help with the game. Over time I’ve seen you grow. Because of that I understand that you are wanting to explore what you are interested in. I’m looking forward to seeing you grow even more and supporting you through that.

  19. Bro, you make THE BEST gameplay reviews. I don’t have access to your analytics, but I wish you would go all in on that and become known as the guy that helps people get better.

  20. Your time is more valuable than anything. You deserve to spend it the way that makes you happiest.

I’ve always gravitated towards your videos because of your soothing demeanor. That being said, I would rather consume content that doesn’t drain the creator. Personally, I watch your stuff because of you. And the industry needs more people like you.

Best of luck on this new journey!

  22. YouTube is about connecting with your people. I love your videos. Ask any of your subscribers, they love your videos too, not just because they get tutorials, they love them cause they connect with you. Hell, I haven't seen a YouTuber who asks us to drink water and unclench our jaw.

So, drop the tutorials and make anything that we can connect with. Anything at all that would help us connect with you. Cause, ultimately, that's the goal.

I don't even play DBD anymore cause I don't have the time. All I do is update the game everytime a new version pops out. But I still watch every single one of your videos. I'll say this… I'll support you. And Im pretty sure that anyone who reads this will support you too. Go break a leg.

I wanna wish you goodluck and let you know I’ll be sticking around to see whatcha come up with. Look forward to future videos and I pray to the entity you have unclenched your jaw after reading this 🙏🤟🏻

  24. So I went through a phase where I put in a lot of effort and was doing 2 videos a day. I pushed that for 2 months and ended up burning out and getting more critical of myself. I abandoned youtube for almost 5 years. I am ready to come back but I still trying to figure out how to get back where I was. Where I was enjoying making content.

  25. I don’t feel like people realize how much actually goes into a quality video like those you produce. They’ll come around! And if they don’t then they’re not supposed to be here. You do you, especially when it comes to your happiness and your mental health! I know it’s not much but I’ll be still be here! ❤️
