  1. I don't think save the best for last needs a rework/nerf. I actually really like how they made Myers' perks.
If you are the obsession you just need to focus on getting hit by a basic attack and not the special one to help your teammates.
It's still a pretty good perk but if you get hit by a basic attack in the first place it's either your fault or the killer is just camping while you are trying to save someone.
But even if a surv is on the hook and another is trying to save there's not that much of a difference: if the killer is prox camping or face camping it's gonna be difficult no matter if you have STBFL or not. He can grab you/hit you when you are trying to unhook and then he can either wait a second to hit you again or hit you instantly depending on the situation.
STBFL makes the job easier but if he's camping it will be pretty hard for him to get stacks after all.

If you are a swf and you really want to make STBFL useless just wear the same clothes lol.

  2. At first, camping and tunneling was every game ..
Now, it is back to 3-4 times every 10 games .. I actually love th is update .. even though I have no idea how it was before or the effect it has on survivors nor killers. I briefly played before the update and I only played Meg .. for a couple of times .. maybe 15 times; if I am being generous. After the update, I only had a problem with camping and tunneling .. I still have the problem and in fact, I got my first dc a week ago .. Camping and tunneling is the worst but also some survivors are the reason matches are lost. They get downed one by one .. by those camping killers and it is not enough that one is down .. the 3rd decide to try and I end up being the only one unhooked .. I can't comment on perks because as I said .. I only played with them later and as far as they go .. I am ok with them 🙂

  3. 1:30 if you use both shadow dance addons and brutal (as you stated) you don't break pallets in less than a second but in :
    2,34 ÷ 2,2 ≈ 1,06 s 🤓

Also, dont dare to say that fire up and brutal is a combo that is too strong, you literally need to loose the game in order to get any value of fire up.

Also, I disagree with most of what you say but let's be honest you won't read but still, I find it really funny that you defend Alc. Ring while also saying that survivors can't get enough distance after a hit.

  4. imo survivors need to have a base way of communicating with other survivors to balance the difference between solo q and swf(pinging system, etc) Also survivors should see what perks their teammates are using.

  5. I completely agree! While most of the changes individually do not seem to OP, the aggregate of them as a whole in some games with the better killers make the game virtually unwinnable in solo Q. Camping and tunneling is off the chain in matches now and when I see a starstruck, agi Nurse I'm out. Killer mains boil it down to a skill issue and the fact that you need to "git guud" since DH and DS were nerfed. Well, I never used them before, and solo Q is 7 shades of hell worse now since the patch.

  6. As a Sadako main (Ik Ik I hate myself too) this update has done nothing but help Sadako. Before the update my kill average on a decent lobby was only 1 or 2 players as the better/more prepared/seasoned players generally got away. After the update using perks like Call of Brine, Jolt, Spied from the Shadows and Merciless Storm I’ve been more or less able to take down entire lobbies without to many gens going off or too many long chases.

It’s gotten to the point I generally only lose survivors to the hatch or if they’re on a discord call and can communicate with more than squats and pointing.

I play Trickster, Trapper and Huntress a lot. Even with Trickster being horrible too and my bad aim I’ve still down and killed a good portion of the lobbies I’ve went against.

  7. All my friends have quit this game and playing with them was the only chance for any semblence of fun, solo q is potluck which is usually bad in my experence. I'm not playing dbd have as much anymore because i just dont enjoy survivor anymore, i've mostly been playing killer since the last two updates.

  8. Jesus christ it only took one killer sided patch to trigger the survivor hive mind killers didn't dc or quit the game after dealing with old ds . dh . old haddonfield and a million other broken shit back in a day

  9. In my opinion im a killer main and well it feels good all the buffs but i think they should rework the nurse and make that the wiggle state dosnt move when the killer is nerby of the hook for exchange of the buffs in my honest opinion

  10. As I killer main I actually agree about the the base kit that why on Huntress I use hatchet over main when possible but at least hatchet is all about predicting and skill , I love spreading wealth in game never about the guarantee kill. hook and on to the next one if run into the same survivor Especially still injured ignore them and push that pressure on to generator control I put self choice handicaps on myself and the game is more challenging and fun! never thought base kit needed a change from last patch now feel like my handicaps are necessary for everyone to have fun .

  11. There’s a reason why tournament killers proxy camp and tunnel…it’s because in the most competitive scenarios, there is no benefit for the killer to NOT do so

Want killers to go for more hooks? Give them a reason to do so. Even BBQ and Chili gave bonus BP’s for hooking everyone at least once, now that bonus doesn’t even exist so…what’s the point?

  12. Hearing you you the word "oppressive" makes you sound like a weak person. You're playing a game against a god powered serial killer. Sorry you think a flashlight and a chuck of wood should make you feel viable.

  13. I just started playing this game recently and I gotta say I’m having no fun as a survivor even playing with friends who are experienced I’ve played a decent bit as survivor and it just feels wack playing as a killer already feels very strong and I don’t even fully understand the game so I bet people who have played this game since it came out are probably pretty upset

  14. I think they should adjust the blade changes and distances ect. I think that I’d hate for them to go back to the old dead hard and stuff would be going back too many steps. Dead hard is still a good perk, as well as many others are still good. They just aren’t as overpowered as the once we’re.

  15. Honestly the killer power disparity is so ridiculous they need to have all of the comp teams come together and make a official tier list and any base kit changes will affect certain killers. Like you said nurse and Sadako downing someone is completely different

  16. My current issues with the game will be fixed greatly with the arrival of reassurance as I believe tunneling, proxy camping and camping are extremely strong right now especially with strong killers.

My other issues are nurse, blight, some killer add ons – SOME MAPS GREATLY alter the experience.

And finally I feel the game should find some balance around basekit gen times – by nerfing toolboxes and survivor gen speed perks – so killers don't have to rely on gen combinations like call of brine / overcharge and pain resonance / dms which are pretty oppressive right now – and by changing basekit gen times to be sufficient, they should erase this gen speed increase / slowdown perk trend.

I'm still debating with myself over the distance when hit change – trying to find ways to adjust, but it is pretty significant especially with strong killers.

However I think what you say makes a lot of sense, dead hard was a HUGE issue for killers – the basekit borrowed was a good change – and the 10 extra secs to gens was also a good one imo – everything else I'm not as sure. You bring a good point, they probably did WAYY too much at once.
