Just a quick video where I talk about some seemingly good perk combinations that might actually backfire on you, while also suggesting alternatives to them. Keep in mind that most of the perk combos showcased in this video aren’t necessarily meta or super strong, but they’re still fun ideas.

  1. In last tome there is a quest that make u use BucleUp, remember, as otz says, it combos perfect with "for the people" so u just go use it and quest done 😉 (if you are soloQ I saw some friends struggling to complete the quest until i said them that trick) hope it helps someone…

  2. 14:28 what do we think about distortion starting out with zero tokens? considering how strong the perk actually is and the fact that most killers in the game dont have a reliable counterplay i think thats fair.

  3. I actually got a lot of use from friendly competition (although very luck based) since the survivor that was gen jockeying with me stayed till the gen pops, went on another gen WITH me, and ran Prove Thyself (which I didnt run because I assumed others would and that both on one survivor is overkill).

I havent done gens that fast with just a brown toolbox in my life. Still a really neiche build and honestly when I got unlucky and teammates didnt play around my perks it was a complete waste of time.

But if you plan on genrushing its actually quite strong imo, at least it was (since I used this build before medkits got nerfed).

  4. smashhit and powerstruggle arent bad, they are just noob traps. no killer ever expects those perks in general, let alone in combination. also it works pretty well if u bring yourself to dead dawg and have a slugging build. ur friend just follows u around and once they leave u get the powerstruggle play. u get the cool and epic dummmtech and u outta there. You might also just get sent to Azarovs by a p100 blight main with agi who would like to show u around his mancave. and then ur very happy that u chose to play this game instead of investing some time into real life relationships and moments that wont leave this earth once your spirit leaves your body and all u can recall is that one p100 blight saying "GG EZ" AFTER GETTING A 4K WITH A NOED , BEACUASE THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW (please dont ban, is a jook)

  5. On freddy i use blood warden because it has amazing synergy with his blackbox add on that blocks exit gates for 15 seconds when first opened. Noed, no way out, and stbl for early-mid game. This takes away the gen camp playstyle which is so boring anyways. Blackbox and bloodwarden paired really throw off survivors.

  6. If anyone is looking for a perk+killer combination that is probably total garbage but might be fun to meme with I've been tinkering with an idea

Nemesis with both zombie detection add-ons (the original idea of this build was to help the zombies pressure while you clean things up)
    Dying light
    Thanataphobia
    Sloppy butcher
And I'd recommend a gen-kick perk like erupt or brine, but this build kind of makes one survivor the "hero" of the group so if you want to run with that idea Rancor could also be a fun choice. You shouldn't ignore this survivor because of thana, but if you want to keep Dying light active while still pressuring the obsession just slug the fuck out of them and hook everyone else and if I'm remembering how Rancor works properly then if you manage to close hatch you can mori them at the end anyway

  7. pts deja vu better together is ny favorite combo.breaks 3 gens. helps other survivors find a place to heal or avoid while in chase. gives you aura readings when teammates are down to find other gens with prigress or where allies are downed. increased gen speed. now im low rank (and solo)and it might jyst be effective down here but you can escape 60% of the time with no items and 66%+ of the time with items .

  8. Thrilling tremors with dead man’s switch seems like it shouldn’t work, but has actually been really clutch for me. Especially when paired with Gearhead.

Punish for downs, then punish again quickly for hooks, then extract info and force bad decisions from people sitting on gens. Every choice a survivor makes results in value.

    Lots of fun on slinger!

  10. i always thought thanathophobia combined with dying light was very strong.. i used it on knight with sloppy butcher and a nurse is calling with the blindness addon when the guards detect some1 on their patrol.. well i only really made it work one time..

  11. I think self care + botany is another bad combo, because botany does not help self care very much, especially after the recent changes to healing speeds. I think if for some reason you want to run self care, reactive healing might pair with it better. How do you think those two would perform together?

  12. I actually think Monitor and Abuse, Infectious Fright, and Forced Hesitation are going to be SICK when the new killer launches!

    Excellent video Otz <3

  13. Could you do a video similar to this one about regression perks and perks that block them? Aka When the regression effects the blocked gen and when it doesn’t?

  14. The last combo of for the people stomps me, I though it was undoable as I tried a lot of times, and then I realize it only works after healing for a bit but not instantly pressing ftp. I have told some people about this but they seems to not trust, but hey thanks for pointing out the myth otz <3 much appreciated, cant wait to try that out.
