  1. I feel your pain, I only get pips when I complete 2 gens on my own, 4 safe-unhooks,3 full heals, 1 chest and 2 totems and like 4-6 chases with the K!ller.. It's ridiculous to pip as survivor, dbd should do something about it and adjust it.

  2. Right at the start of 2:32…booning totems doesn’t give you emblem points and co-op gens cut them in half, sabo a hook does nothing

It seems you doesn’t even know how the emblems are work..? Because they aren’t tied to points you make during the trial

At 7:13 the „uninstall statement“…maybe 1 Gen total progress on your own, 1 heal, 2 unhooks, literally won 2 10 seconds of chases….that’s clearly not enough

And second game right at the start, booning does nothing for pipping…and way to less gens and chase winnings from what you‘ve shown

You should definitely scrap your idea that points reflect what you need to do for pipping as stupid as it is and should try what gives you actual emblem points and how to get them to iridescent

    Benevolent – 2 save unhooks + 2 heals
Chaser – two 45 second chases escaping + 2 pallet stuns
Lighbringer – 2 SOLO Gens and 2 totems (when all 5 Gens pop bc you get points for other gens as well)
Unbroken – zero times downed is iridescent (which is quite unrealistic) but only escaping rewards you with gold, if you are dying you get max silver

And for a pip you need 4 gold emblems, or 2 Iri + 2 Silver and so on

is this stupid and should be changed? Yes absolutely

  3. Years a go we carrying friend by swf to the rank one for achievement. Then were needed two gen,two unhook, two heal, opening gate and escape. And when killer carry survivor to hook surv goofing around to get chase points and escape at chase what´s were very important. As same team switch runner and get hit´s that surv can get escape points.
Maybe behavior were going back to the old days, cause game is so "survivor sided"

  4. Well looks like you go for alround (doing just a tiny bit of all). You need to focus on 1-2 objectives. Get 1 max and dont fuck up equals always a pip for me.

Do 2 flashlight saves, take 1-2 saftey hits and save 1-2 hooks. Easy pip without doing shit.
Go for a loop build and loop the shit out if the killer (yeah against nurse/spirit not the best idea). 2 min chase feels like a safe pip everytime i do it…

Srsly it feels lile you want to do a lot of things because thats how you get easy killer pips, but for survivor you need a clear strat

  5. First minute of you talking proved the flawed logic of the game not rewarding a survivor who helps a teammate, finishes a Gen, unhook a survivor and then escaping. That immeadietly festered my mind. However, it's dbd and behavior has made some questionable reworks… 😂

  6. For survivor its way harder thats true. I realised that when i did 3 full gens unhooked 4 people healed the 4, cleansed 5 totems! (3 of those were pentimento) and i opened the door and escaped and i only got close to 2 pips. (I had 0 interactions with the killer that game so i guess its the lack of that, no escape the chases, no stuns etc)

  7. Survivor Grade is fundamentally flawed – Killer Grade is far easier and the contrast is insane.

It took me around a week this reset to get Iri 1 survivor…
Chucky releases and in 4 days I got to Iri 1 from Ash 3, even doing Adept Pig in the middle of Iri rank STILL earning a pip…
    Like um XD

  8. Alrighty the first game you got hit pretty fast after a chase start that takes a lot of points off of chaser emblem, if the killer hits you short after a hit that also takes points away and you got hit fast in a chase a lot so thats why you have a silver emblem in chaser

  9. I got iri 1 once for survior and never again. I got so frustrated for 3 months at like iri 3. Ended up doing research and stumbled on the rule of 2. 2 gens, unhooks, totems, heals and then finally like 45 seconds of chase. I broke it down to steps every match with going for those goals. I wasn't having fun because if I didn't get a certain aspect I was screwed and best I could hope for was safety.

Worser part was camping/tunneling killers or surviors who just gave up. I knew I was doomed those matches. Also friendly killers… Had one round with a ghost face and because no chase and such I actually depiped.

  10. I left a comment on the first video. I hope you read this one. I can see why you don't pip up. Stop focus on pipping up and just play the game how you normally would, you will pip up eventually naturally. Look, you got to iri ranks without this weird strategy of bringing these perks and playing this way, so why are you changing now. Play the way you always would and forget about the pips. That's how everyone else gets to iri 1. Now as far as the games in this video. First video all of your chases were REALLY short and this shows and you got a silver medal for that. No pallet stuns, no protections hits, no long chase and no losing chase. Why should you rank up for that kind of gameplay? As far as gens, heals, and saves you didn't do an outstanding amount so you got gold medals. Makes sense

  11. The thing is, people always confuse bp with emblems that you need for piping. For example, in the first match you "lost" a lot of chases, because being hit or downed without breaking the chase counts as losing it. That's why playing against Wraith is so good for pipping, because he needs to cloak, and that gives you "escaped" emblem points, so you can pip even if you die. Plus, your emblem and thus pipping highly depends on your teammates, for example hook emblem. If they die on hook or get hooked a lot, that is minus pip in that particular emblem for everyone. So if you are the best and you escape but your team died very quickly, you still depip. Which is so stupid. Also, the time you spent alive in the match counts towards "survival", too.
So points on the leaderboard literally don't matter.

That said, it is still very stupid, and I agree that it must be reworked.

  12. for me i see it harder to pip by doing totems, hooks and chest, so i never do them, and not i pip up without thinking ^^
i focus to do 3-4 unhooks and healing ppl, then do total 2 gens, then do chase and do more gens and heal ppl then i get iri on gens and unhooking emblems and silver and gold emblems on it ^^

  13. First much you did not get chased at least until the end you just save unhook and repair gens you need to take the agro too when u are red ranks you need to fill out all the surviving categories ma dude and good luck with ur games love your content 🫡

  14. The reason you didn’t pip the first game is because your chases ended super quickly. You get negative points for that I believe… Yet again, it’s Nurse so not really fair but that’s DBD for you.

  15. yeah, the system is annoyingly stupid for sure. i've had moments in the game, where i've done a fair decent amount of stuff, and i either don't pip or i down pipped. hell i've had rough matches that i get punished for by getting down pipped, just cause some asshole killer wanted to be an ass

  16. Yeah I don’t see an issue with the pipping system honestly. Do two of everything and you’ve guaranteed a pip. If not two of everything then at least two gens, two unhooks and not going down early in chases also guarantees a pip

  17. This quite funny because I had a seriously difficult time even reaching Silver I on the last rank reset. On Week 1 I blazed through all the Ash Ranks and got stuck at Bronze 2, then got stuck at Silver 2 all Week 2 and got stuck at Silver 1 all of 3rd week before giving up.

The Killers I was playing against tunnelled me out right off the get go, would get hard tunnelled for 5 to 6 rounds in a row which knocked me down from having 3 – 4 Pips to 0, as soon as I started gaining Pips I immediately lost them all again because of constant hard tunnelling.

I have nothing against tunnelling, it's a playstyle a lot of people hate, I don't do it myself but it can get a little sad when you're dealing with that playstyle so frequently that you can't make any progress.

  18. The only thing I had to do to reach iri 1 was play more consistently.
As in: I wasn’t playing DBD very often, so I’d never make it.

You are literally just a crap survivor. That’s it.

Behavior doesn’t have to change the basis of the game to suit your inept play.

It does that too much, as is.

  19. Playing well increases MMR. Higher MMR means tougher games. That means the better you get the harder it is to pip. Best way to ensure Iri 1 would maybe be to dump MMR hardcore at the beginning of the season. If people who do this shit for a living can't pip, there needs to be some rework.

  20. Read the 4 big "medals" that gives you score, in all of these games you went too hard in one of them and lost 2 lifes, so you get iridecent in one but silver to gold in the rest, the system is flawed and basically rewards you for hiding and doing gens, thats just it, and if you get chased once make sure it lasts long and you max it out exposing yourself and doing more chases because you will have lost the last medal at the end.

  21. I have being in the same situation. It’s ridiculous. Matches where everyone did well and escaped and depip you, and matches where I did nothing but totems and unhook peaple can pip you. Much worse is the MMR who keeps pairing me with useless peaple

  22. I infinitely recommend Stake Out. The raw boost to points you get from Great Skill Checks on Healing + Repairing is insane. Always get to Iri 1 pretty fast with it in all my builds

  23. when isnt DBD broken, minimum 50 bugs/glitches a day?, something not thoroughly made, and unbaalanced e.g. Perks, Rank System, Maps, pallet placement, like jeez this game fucking sucks
