  1. The absurdity of devs for a game that implements limited time battle passes saying they don't like FOMO in the game. It frustrates me to no end that I lost access to my favorite charm when I switched platform from Xbox to Steam…a lot of Rift skins may end up in the store, but charms aren't sold in the store at all so I'm pretty much out of luck so far as that goes.

  2. I think the math came out to 135M to 150M Bloodpoints spent from Prestige 1 to 100 or Prestige 9 to 100. I mean… I think asking for something to help players to celebrate that accomplishment isn't too much to ask for.

  3. Couldn't they just have a similar system as the bloody cosmetics? Maybe you receive a recolored legacy cosmetic piece for hitting prestige like 33, 67 and 100. Then if someone doesn't have the time to grind p100 they could still get a piece at prestige 33 which is way more attainable on limited time.

  4. The thing about a prestige 100 cosmetics is that the license holders would have to allow for their character to have edited textures. The reason why prestige 6 outfits are allowed since the characters being covered in blood doesn’t go against the licensed characters. Having blue glowing textures like the legacy skins would need permission.

  5. it kind of makes sense to me that they don't want people to feel like they need to p100 instead of playing the game in 'healthier' ways, honestly
it could be a known thing that it increases attrition or something

  6. I love the example of re skinned legacy, but thinking of survivor side, what would happen for legendary characters? As a Chris main I'd hate to have to be Leon just to show off the p100 skin… Its a variable to add to the mix, should legendary characters be neglected as the technically currently are with no prestige variant? What are your thoughts on this?

  7. Literally what no competiton and monopoly does to a company. DBD had become too successful in it's niche genre that any kind of scummy monetisation and grind fest mechanic just go by and the playerbass just takes it. Sure there are people calling it out but somehow there are people defending behaviour for it too. So not only they have a monopoly in the game genre, they also have alot of Stockholm syndrome playerbase or sunk cost player at their vice grip. Well the only solution for this are either somehow the playerbase quit or do some actual impact boycot or a game comes out and can compete with dbd but both seems impossible at the moment first reason due to the reason above second reason the game rival have to be somehow popular enough (not talking like how TCM is, it's a great game but is it gonna be like dbd level? Nope)

  8. as a game developer and artist myself, can confirm that its pretty fast to work on textures if you already have a base. It only takes a lot of time the more realistic you want to get with next to no base, or if you need approval of the designs from higher ups. Realistically after the responses they probably will end up doing this in the future, but there could also be the fact that the art team may be significantly smaller than the other departments, and most of the time they are implemented second to last depending on the assignment given.

  9. Boy am I glad there's no p100 garbage to worry about. The people asking for it are already there and just want free shit. There's no financial benefit to add all that stuff in either. Glad it doesn't exist and hope they maintain that stance.

  10. They even have a pseudo basis for this, with the Bloody Outfits! Those are a reward for hitting certain prestiges!!

Honestly, my dream would be something akin to those, but it's based on the entity? After all, you've offered so many things to it, levelled up so many times, why not have some kind of entity themed outfit? Even just something like spider limb looking stuff on the outfits or such!!

Alternatively, let Huntress have her hatchets also drip blood at P100.

  11. It takes like 7,000 hrs to unlock everything you can without spending money, which is importantly, not everything. In fact most of the best perks and some of the best killers (you know, the things that actually affect gameplay not just cosmetics) are locked behind paywalls. Fuck off BHVR.

  12. Legacy rework: Dark Mist entity-touched legacy rework cosmetic with fog coming out of you
    P50 reward: Entity-touched legacy outfit
P100 reward: Blue entity-touched legacy outfit
    OR
    P50 reward: Entity-touched weapons/hooks/toolboxes/medkits/flashlights/keys/maps
    P100 reward: Entity-touched legacy outfit

  13. I love DBD but after 5 years of playing over 4k hours, I need something to work towards… They have at least temporarily lost my interest due to TCM having a progression system to work through.

  14. It really bugs me that some of the event cosmetics that you grind to get b/c of limited time end up in the store for everyone to purchase. I'm specifically referring to the Mikayla witch skin. That kinda burned my ass on that 1 lol

  15. I really don't get the complaint of not having a compelling reward for p100. Literally nobody is telling you to waste all that time, that's your choice. If anything you should be happy the game isn't encouraging you to blow 200 hours just to max out a single character.

  16. I personally would love a bloody filter you could put on every of your P100 character's cosmetics, so basically like the bloody prestige cosmetic but for all their cosmetics. I think it'd look neat to have blood no matter what you're wearing.

Even if they just gave you a huge amount of shards as a reward for hitting P100, or bloodpoints, like 10K shards or a million bloodpoints. After all, you put in countless of hours to get someone to P100 and right now, you get nothing for it except for the "special P100 treatment" (as survivor). Any reward would be nice.

And as mentioned in the video and comments, them saying it's becaused they don't want people to feel like they're missing out is just hypocritical when they've only recently locked cosmetics that have been in the store for ages behind a time-limited wall (for example Dwelf).

  17. A silver or platinum splatter prestige. Honestly, they took all of the skins that I worked my butt off for during events and gave them away for free a year later, so why am I grinding at all? I’ll totally get them later and cheaters get legacy so who cares you know
