tl;dr: Anyone that purchased the new Junji Ito skins in regions in which the skins are banned were not compensated when the skins were removed despite them being able to purchase them due to a bug,

  1. The fact they cannot give him the fake in game currency is mind boggling the work required to refund him is rolling back his account a few days in the database or just giving him the currency back it's fake currency that's not tied to an economy or anything they can literally just print it and they wonder why players laughed at them when they asked for a labor of love award

  2. Responding three separate times saying they "can't" without providing the barest explanation as to why would have had me fuming. This situation definitely has me questioning whether I want to keep spending money on this game at all in the future. Hopefully the OP is eventually compensated because that's such bs.

  4. For those going through customer service. Do cut the support staff some slack, the poor guys and gals don't actually have any authority in regards to refunds, they have to go through upper management to get approval in order to resolve certain issues.

So give them all the details you can, and remember to be respectful.

  5. So! Time for censorship discussion!

In some countries, Junji Ito's work is outlawed and basically banned. These countries do not allow the dissemination of his work. Now, the reason these people can see them is because they're part of larger server segments where people can. And so if someone in Siberia is playing against someone in say Romania who can have the skin, they can't block the skin from view or the match making system goes to shit.

And the thing being, refunding someone's purchase for something illegal could get BHVR and possibly the player into a lot of hot water with that country and their censorship laws.

So, they can't really block an entire server bank from seeing or purchasing the product without blocking it from people in that same block who can buy it because their government doesn't outlaw it.

Which is where things are all mixed up. Behavior's hands are tied by international laws and it's far more complicated.

  6. I had just returned to DBD and bought the sht I didnt realize was allowed….now im so disgusted im going to play Marvel Rivals and let DBD return to the graveyard. If you check steam charts this game has been in a downtrend for a min….this was a necessary wake up call for players like me that wanted to return and forget all the problems with it.

  7. The creators of these skins are probably disappointed at behavior… if i were them I would make behavior stop selling their skins this has been addressed so no more victims fall into this unintentional scam.

  8. I don´t even understand why they can´t. I mean they can give people on Reddit auric cells, bp and stuff for helping in the Reddit community or give away codes to redeem ingame currency. So maybe just give everyone a single use code with the amount of auric cells if the ingame shop system struggles with it. Shouldn´t be too hard Behaviour.

  9. slow your speech dow 10 or 15 percent. I only speak English and you are speaking too fast. your pauses between words are fine, the speed of your pronunciation is too fast, for you. your mouth is not keeping up with your brain. I think. this makes you harder to understand and at least for me, difficult to listen to. But I agree with what I think your sentiment is. GL HF

  10. Most of the bought licensed content would have a percentage split per sale between bhvr/license holders, meaning there's no way they don't know what you spend your auric cells on.

  11. Shouldn't BHVR have a sort of purchase history to help them track which cosmetics you do and don't own? I imagine this is the case, not to be that guy but these claims sound suspicious. Why would a company risk legal action/highly negative consumer complaints just to rip off a handful of individuals. I would also imagine since this collection released accidentally for banned regions- MANY more players would have tried to snag the characters knowing they would disappear. Like I would expect a shit ton of complaints but it's just a few people saying this
