For those who don’t know what NFT’s are, I think I know what’s going on…
An NFT is a non fungible token. It’s mostly used to monetize artwork or other forms of art on the internet, but there are many bypasses which makes NFT’s are mostly used to abuse the system to monetize through Crypto Currencies. As you may know, Crypto Currencies require high processing and machine work by a computer which uses expensive parts. Those expensive parts are being manufactured more and more to remove valuable materials from our worlds to start mining. Another issue with Crypto Currencies is that they use high power and processing on computers causing power levels to skyrocket. This causes power plants to use more fuels and coals to generate enough electricity which releases more carbon dioxide and gases and thus fucks up our planets. So, in summary: NFTs are a shitty practice by companies to monetize “art” like Pinhead to outsource crypto mining to make companies an extra buck while screwing over the planet. People are justifiably angry at BHVR for supporting this grey area practice.
