Did you know that there are over 600 Killer Addons in the game? In this video, I want to shed light on some hidden gems among those addons that are often overlooked and underrated. Join me as I showcase what I believe to be the 5 most underrated Killer addons in Dead by Daylight.

First up, we have the best survivor tracking tool in the game, Demogorgon’s Leprose Lichen addon. This addon is a game-changer as it reveals every survivor’s aura for a few seconds every time Demo uses a portal. Hiding from this addon becomes nearly impossible, yet it remains vastly underutilized. With my 9000 hours of experience, I can count on one hand how often I’ve encountered a Demo using this powerful addon.

  1. Double Iridescent Demogorgon is my favorite way to play. It's a little OP at times, but I can't say I'd ever personally be mad if I lost to someone using it. Seeing where players are for THAT long while being undetectable and harder to track via your power is mind-bogglingly fun and powerful. Another point towards Demogorgon being the most balanced and likable killer <3

  2. I odly started using calm spirit alot and it throws killers off a heap. Taking hits for other survivors and not screaming confuses some killers too. Unsure of who or what they hit. Falling makes no scream either so you can drop quietly in big loops and make the killer think youre still upstairs

  3. The reason nobody uses the crest is because until patch 5.5 the addon was complete dogwater. The addon only made survivors within 12 meters scream, so nobody touched it. For context 5.5 released in January of 2022 and was the same patch that boil over got it's fall mechanic pre RPD rework. Nobody cared that a random addon got buffed on Oni.

  4. I only play two killers and use those addons quite literally every game I play with them. I don’t know how they’re slept on either. I play Oni and Demo and those addons are my absolute favourite in the game especially demo’s!

  5. I personally disagree with Oni's add-on being underrated, I think it's pretty bad and one of his worst outside of the absorption speed ones. Most of the time, you don't really want to be running around randomly with your power since it wastes your power bar and general time when you could just pick the survivor up or save it for when you see someone. If survivors are playing extra safe you need every second of the power you can get and not waste half of it running around the map hoping for the best. You also want to conserve the bar when you can to save on blood pickup.

If you plan to go the snowball route, then just use Infectious. If you end up going across the map scouting, then due to his speed you'll likely see scratch marks or other signs meaning you still don't need the add-on. About it's only use is on a map like Lery's/The Game where there are a lot of site blockers and even then, Infectious still does the same thing but better.

It just feels like a wasted add-on slot when you could be using Infectious or get the info naturally instead. Even in the game you played, you didn't get much value out of it that you wouldn't have gotten with Infectious or naturally had you looked around for a sec. This would have let you use the add-on slot for more speed, charge time or anything else that could have helped you in chase which might have made a difference since you lost power a few times before getting the down.

Again, IMO. I've only got like 2k hours and I'm not an Oni main by any means, I just feel that add-on is being oversold for what we saw. The others I agree with for the most part though.

  6. For the Iri's it's just cause they're rarer by default and that adds an implied risk to running them even though you can stockpile them easier now that the price is lower. I have no excuse for the others though ala License. A great video Hens as per always!

  7. The buff to family crest made it insanely viable and I'm happy for it. Hardly play Oni and hardly play against Onis with it but those that do run it make for scary games. Pair it with Dead Man's Switch and BBQ and you can basically do the same thing Artist does with her birds. But instead of throwing birds, you're throwing a big angry samurai.

  8. I think the reason no one uses the Oni add on is because it feels really clunky to use and it doesn’t feel like it rewarding you with anything, I was of the opinion that was the worst addon in the game and while I do think it’s still down there I have seen the uses for it. I still won’t use it though because missing demon strikes just doesn’t feels good
