Well, I was gone for a hot minute but I’m back now… sort of. New (and much busier) schedule means uploads won’t come as frequently, but my goal is to still do at least 2 a week; I know it’s not ideal but a Food’s gotta eat. Anyway, missed y’all and hope you enjoy 🙂

I think also dredge deserves to be in the list. I mean… he's disturbing under every aspects and i love it. The lore, the nightfall and his design makes the snail-turkey boi one of the scariest killers in the game. It baffles me how many players don't consider him too much and actually on yt i can't find a Dredge main lol
So i raise an honorable mention for several reasons- Artist. Hear me out.
Yes, people can play her really boring and just "bird-at-loop no thoughts only birds". So she loses points for that. But everything else? It's so well crafted from a mechanical and numerical perspective. The timing windows she has to do damage to a swarmed target is rather tiny, meaning you have to decide where to fire and GO, including travel time. She can zone people into doing an animation to reset the timer as well if she needs more time to set up. She can even set up a chain-bird hit with spacing, but has to set aside the time and predict the movements. Cross-map injuries in a single volley are probably her most skill expressive aspect, and multitasking with her kit rewards good game sense.
Playing against an artist who is going for bird injuries and landing shots and snipes gets to be really fun, because as a survivor you are rewarded for dodging the follow up quite heavily. Keeping an eye out for the volleys and staying on your toes forces her to have to start mindgaming her scouting or snipes. I have chases with survivors cross-map with us trying to outdo the other which feels similar to dodging orbital strike hatchets.
Lastly, her addons are designed in a way i think is super healthy for a kit. She has some transformative addons that apply some effects, but anything that buffs the base mechanics of the power is VERY limited and aside from duration there is only one of each. Oil paints makes repelling take a mere .5 seconds longer, severed tongue only reduces how long she has a slow after firing crows by the same .5 seconds, ect. Yet you can feel the effects of them, and i am hard pressed to know anyone who complains about her addons. Severed hands being the exception to this rule because it has a noticeable effect from survivor side.
Conclusion: Artist has a meticulously tuned kit to allow for high skill and levels of interactions and mind games, but is held back by efficient anti-loop gameplay that is a side effect of her kit. She was obviously designed to be mid-long distance but the Bird-At-Loop artists have ruined the killer for the community at large. I get so much positive feedback from survivors i face for actually using her fun aspects and going for riskier but bolder shots so i know im not entirely delusional here. I hope not. Tell me if i am below i encourage it

This is kinda off topic but I swear one of the reasons I main twins, plague, and knight is because like no one else mains them I think I subconsciously like them more because of the niche fan base of these killers
In my humble opinion, the huntress doesn't have a big learning curve but has a big platform issue. 😅
You can notice right away if the huntress is being used by a console player, then take advantage of their fov and reaction. That's why there isn't too many huntresses in general.
For Cenobite sorry not knowing that my teammates do see that I'm on a 90pourcent gen and be like you go to do it when their just doing a trip around the map and sorry for not knowing that this dumb Meg bring the killer on me while I was doing th box pls reveal my location to survivor when I'm doing the box!

You should definitely have put the Dredge on this list, the only reason not to put Dredge as Nº1 is map RNG with bad locker spawns. But other than that Dredge is one of the most fun and better designed killers on DBD
As a huntress main I do agree with her spot. Her power is simple enough yet takes so much to properly learn rather it’s learning what you can hit over arching what you can hit throw judging distance what’s the proper way to get a cross map flicking. As a huntress main whose Mained her nearly two years im still learning and I enjoy doing so
I think Cenobite alters the rules of the trial so much compared to other killers, that survivors just don’t really know what to do some times.

I wish I could like playing against Pinhead but one thing constantly ruins my experiences: solo-queue. I feel like I'm the only one that either actually goes for the box or someone else goes for it constantly at poor times. It's a decently designed power that encourages interacting with the killer. It's just very solo-queue punishing.
Hot take on the bili part, the thought of "bili only feels good with he feels good, if you don't get saw kills it's bad" I personally don't think is valid. Bili has been around for a LONG time and so survivors have developed a lot of COUNTERPLAY to his power. Not getting downs doesn't mean the power isn't satisfying, it just is a skill (or map) dif.
Compared to plague who always feels oppressive since she REMOVES a component of the game (and lack of game components is what people sometimes complain about and why Texas chainsaw massacre seems is exciting for a lot of dbd players) Plague is fun to play as and against, but without good communication a plague does much better than a bili most of the time.

The fact that doing the box can be damn near impossible sometimes is one of several reasons why Pinhead is the killer I hate facing the most. I'll be honest, there's nothing about his kit that I like facing. Same goes with Knight and it's part of the reason why those killers I avoid playing at all.
the only thing i don't like about pinhead on survivor is when no one gets the box and lets the chain hunt happen over and over and the chain hunt in my opinion are just annoying

My friends can attest, I lose my marbles whenever we load in and realize that the killer is Blight or Billy. There's just something about a killer bolting towards you at the speed of light out of nowhere, then leading into a chase that's a split second decision every time you come to a loop. Having played both killers myself for a pretty sizable amount of time each, I can appreciate the hell out of a good Blight main, and Billy's are like going to a zoo and seeing an endangered species.
The only real problem with Pinheads power to me is that u still get hit with chains while trying to solve the box to end the chain storm, sometimes it can be literally impossible to actually finish the box and stop the storm, so ur just stuck their holding it and getting hit by chains till u die, if they just made it so u don’t get hit with chains while solving the box I think Pinhead would be fine, and if that’s really too much of a nerf they can just make the box take longer to solve or give it skill checks or somethin
I disagree with Pinhead being well designed. Swf's will have zero issues with the box. The same cannot be said for solo queue. When a part of his power does nothing against a group of players that is not good design.
I'm surprised blight wasn't on this list, I find looping and playing as the blight so satisfying, and the power is soo creative from a design perspective, I could never think of something this cool for a power.
