I kinda found this developer update to be a bit funny cause they're making good changes right after they brought back Pain Res + DMS combo, nerfed mettle of man and released the monstrosity of dating sim (jk dating sim is good)
I honestly would’ve preferred if windows/pallets remained an effective safety barrier against Wesker’s power. You could already counter it pretty easily by just, well, vaulting the window or breaking the pallet. Making his power a free hit at these places just leads him down the path of being another generic unfun zoning killer.

if its about anti-tunneling, a basekit DS would work better than basekit BT.
im not saying i like the idea, but chasing an injured survivor with endurance vs a healthy survivor the former is much easier.
you can grab a vaulting injured survivor, hitting the endurance makes sure of no styptic/instaheal/dead hard.
lately even if i go out of my way not to tunnel, people would either bodyblock with OTR or the unhooker would lithe/botburst far, far away

They are so reluctant to nerf the nurse it's hilarious.
If Nurse getting deleted isn't possible, then just make her hits Special Attacks and for the love of god, look into her Add-ons.
I hate how inconsistent strength-to-Addon-quality is in this game. Killers like Spirit, Blight, and Nurse have insanely strong Add-ons, while weaker Killers like Freddy, and even fucking Hillbilly have to suffer through garbage Add-ons

Basekit BT is a bandaid fix for killers "tunelling".
The reason they do it is because bhvr has made it clear that kills are the win condition, not hooks.
Focusing on one survivor is often the most efficient and fastest way to get kills.
Bhvr is not addressing the root cause of the problem.
