The in-game files on the PTB also show weird things with the Bubbas perks showing new names.
WHICH IS A GOOD THING! Because this means the Bubba will get the same treatment as the Demogorgon.
Which means we won’t lose the Killer but you WILL NOT be able to purchase the killer once they lose their license.

Bubba is an iconic character and I love his edition in DBD. I best and funniest moments were against Bubba.
I missed out on the opportunity to purchase Demogorgon but I won't miss bubba, he's a high tier killer. They better be making a video game with him since they're taking him out.

If they’re gonna keep removing the ability to BUY a character for their perks whenever, they ought to just give the perks to everyone. “But they’ll be in the Shrine—!” NO. You have to wait for them to be chosen and show up and then you have to have shards. It’s not our fault they lost the license, we should not be punished for that.

I’m stealing this build
It’ll be nice taking him out so a company (Gun Media) can actually give him the authenticity and respect he needs. Hopefully some of the other killers such as Pinhead and Michael Myers can leave and get their own multiplayer driven games.

Bubba is not entirely getting removed. They're just making dlc not purchasable and his perks will be general to all killers
