Bubba is Leaving Dead by Daylight?

There was some stuff found on the PTB that suggests that Bubbaā€™s license may no longer be in dbd. I would assume the main reason for this would be the new TCM game coming out making it hard to renew the license. If you enjoyed, be sure to leave a like, comment and subscribe!

  2. Peniston's Creature from the 1998 American television miniseries based on the 1994 novel White Shark. I first saw the miniseries and i really like the monster/killer in this move, basically a great white on two legs with human intelligence, with a killer like that we could get a caribic island/beach map as well. For his ability's he should have a thresher attack where he locks into an survivor with his teeth and threshes them around, also a passive tacking ability for bleeding victims.

  3. I would love to see Alien chapter in DBD
The killer would obviously be The Xenomorph
The survivor woul be beloved Ripley and the map would be one of the Apollo ships – specifically i would love to see the giant Apollo ship from Alien: Isolation game

  4. They can't take away the Mr. Boobles man. It'd just be a very sad moment, how are we gonna get baby Bubbas now. Guess we have to hope they don't take him.

  5. Licensed Killers I'd like to see added: The Keeper from Evil Within would be a good one. I would also love to see the Charger, Smoker or Jockey from L4D, I know the license would be tricky to negotiate but I think it would be cool!!! At least give L4D Skins to killers with similar powers, like Plague and Spitter, Clown could be the Boomer and throw "Boomer Bile". Artist, Huntress or Hag could be the Witch. Their powers would need to be slightly altered to fit DBD but still pay homage to the originals. I would love to see a Necramorph from Dead Space. Maybe a Volatile or whatever the "Play as a Zombie" classified as from Dying Light? Big Daddy and Little Sister from BioShock. These are in no particular order, just listed in the order they came to mind in.

Kinda strange but I would love to a Clicker from The Last of Us. Of course the killer wouldn't have to use echolocation like they do – but have them be a mix of Clown and Hag, and an infection mechanic akin to Mastermind/Wesker and Plague.
Let me explain: I know its not "cannon" that Clickers can lay the fungus pods, but for the sake of DBD thats it's power. I know the clickers can be a part of them, and the pods that exist can explode to deal damage.
But, for DBD the Clicker would be able to cycle through two options. Fungal Pods and Fungal Nests.
ā€¢ The Fungal Pods are placed like any trap character. They can place up to 6 of these in the world and are limited to carrying 3 of them at base. They recharge over time so it's infinite usage as long as the pods burst. Much likenthe hag, they operate on a proximity based trigger, crouching past them does not set them off. They don't deal direct damage when bursting but they slow, blur the survivors vision and provide a similar slowing effect as Clowns pink cloud in regards /o vaulting speed. It may not immediately damage the survivor, but the cloud spreads and the longer the survivor stays inside the faster their infection rate goes up. It does passively go up when walking, and increases faster when sprinting. Max infection puts you into the broken state and highlights the Nests in Yellow.

ā€¢ The Clicker has 5 Fungal Nests that spawn in the world upon the start of the Trial. They act as an antidote for survivors and a double edged sword for the Clicker. The survivor needs to interact with the Nests to rid themselves of infection. Upon finishing the action, the Clicker receives a killer instinct and sees your aura for 5 seconds.

Here is where the double edged sword comes part comes in. Every Nest is like ones where the Clickers are part of the colony. So, when the clicker "teleports" their current location becomes a new Fungal Nest over time. The nest they "telephoned" to has a clicker body in it, so a break out animation plays and that Nest dissolves.

The double edged sword aspect is they will lose the Nest they teleported, and leaves behind a new nest location that takes 50 seconds to fully develop. However, teleporting can not be used within 15 meters of a hook to prevent camping, and nests themselves cannot be spawned within 25 meters of eachother in order to prevent the killer from limiting access to survivor resources.

To prevent "lock outs" like blocking every exit to Shack, the nest being formed will latch to a structure close to the door, window or pallet. So if you some how manage to teleport to a nest as the Clicker while standing in a doorway, it will form the nest attached to the wall, maybe 1 meter away from the door.

I know pretty lengthy, but I feel like having a rotating "resource" killer would be interesting, especially if you put it into their kit as a means of risk/reward for them. The reason I gave my "idea" a aura after interaction is to add incentive to teleport to the nest in a non-optimal location. As the Nests can be used in a similar fashion to Spirit and Dredge's power as anti-loop. Especislly when combined with the Pod's slow down. In order to balance chase power and movement, I do personally believe that The Clicker should move at the same speed as Huntress. Being a slower killer also fits being "Zombie." With that being said, I feel as if the anti-loop eith the Pods and a very well used Nest Mindgame would be a very solid kit.
