I genuinely don’t understand why they are removing him. Texas Chainsaw Massacre isn’t huge, it has its fans but there aren’t a lot of people who actively keep up with the franchise meaning not alot of people are going to know about the new game. The only reason I know about it is from dbd and the only reason I would possibly play if because of dbd. It would honestly be smarter to keep him in dbd to bring players to their game.
I hope that Bhvr looks at this and maybe thinks about buffing Billy.
Why do you ask? Well Billy was Bhvr version of Bubba because they didn’t hold the license and with Bubba potentially leaving, I hope they will notice this gap and somewhat restore their original chainsaw killer. People will want Bubba, but won’t be able to get bubba, so give us the closest thing.
Puff i love the Game but i'm honestly tired of the community, they are always exagerating and making comments about how the Game is horrible and how the Game is dying and how this killer thing is terrible and this survivor thing is horrible, it's such a boomer how everytime i find a Game that i like, it always has to have a shitty community

To be fair, when Evil Dead released, Ashley wasn't taken out. So it's a 1 – 1.
Is it really that bad if we lose Bubba? Yes 100% it's still really bad and it will have serious ramifications moving forward, but of all the licenses we could lose I think Bubba, Ash, and Pinhead are the most expendable due to only having 3 perks and 1 new character. I'm still not saying losing any license is good by any stretch of the imagination, but I am saying that at least we are losing very little compared to most other chapters. Putting gameplay aside Bubba is really important to DBD and whether you hate him or love him the facts are losing Bubba will set in stone that no license is safe going forward and from here on out any license can leave at anytime.
I'm still not sure if the actual reasoning for them to remove bubba because of the TCM game coming out. Because then that would mean they would be removing bubba from mortal Kombat X as well?
I think DBD has a new license ready to come out. Stranger things is making a come back is not? I think Behaviour is possibly teaming with the until dawn creators but I don’t know if that’s true.
I love when people say that DBD is dying, isn't that the point of the game?
From what I've seen, a DBD-style game is going to come out, but only from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Maybe that's why they're going to remove it
Hey Aaron, hopefully its not true. I started playing Dbd just a couple of months ago and i've quickly got 300 hours in the game now. The game is real fun but i cant get my hands on the stranger things characters, and that reeaally sucks.

if dbd does "die" i believe it will still have a strong occult fanbase who still plays, i know if the game dies i will still play it.
I mean I'm kind of tired of hearing how "you didn't buy a dlc pack so now everyone else can still use it but you never will"

You just won't be able to buy him anymore like Demo, so he's going to become a very rare killer to see later on in the future if the game even has one. I just hope Michael Myers doesn't get his own video game anytime soon I am already happy with the Atari 2600 version of him.
When did dbd leaks say something that is completely false ? I don’t remember a single time, their track record is flawless and this is 110% happening, don’t be in denial people it’s gonna happen.
Dead by Daylight was always set up (even in the lore) to be a meeting ground for various horror franchises and come and go when the time comes. Now we're finally seeing the ugly side of that as franchises depart from the game. I think its a large leap in logic to say it kills Dead by Daylight. It definitely hurts player/community morale though, no question.

What pisses me off with some of you guys is you dont understand business. This is what happens when you License other peoples "Content" Its one of the main reasons the studio Telltale Games died a horrible death. They Licensed way to many characters and pre-made stories. Behavior should of been constantly making their own Killers, and this would not be happening. You cant get mad at the Copyright holder for wanting to go in a different direction with their property.
Of course as soon as I am able to play the game this came to slap me in the face lol

If it's a repeat of the strangers things being "removed" then there's no need to worry. Leatherface didn't come with his own "official" map unlike stranger things. If they are completely removing him then that's a different story. If they do remove him completely I think it'll help with interest in the chainsaw massacre game
